| So, am I the only one excited to have the kids back in school again tomorrow? Par-TAAAAY!! :disco: YEEEES, I love my kids...YEEEES, I enjoyed them while they were home. But gosh, two weeks is enough already! THREE weeks for my college son! Time to get back to 'normal' around here! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Excited that I won't have to listen to the girls fighting all day long? Yes. Not anxious to get back to all their activities, which we were also on vacation from these past two weeks. | |

| Honestly, I think my girls could give a new meaning to the words "sibling rivalry". | |

| Mine just left for school at last ... no fighting all day! Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow. | |

| Nah, I really enjoyed having them home, the house is too quiet with them not at home. I know, I'm odd! | |

We should have. Every district in the area does except for us and the school bus is stuck on our street waiting for the sander. I'm sure not looking forward to driving the little one to school in this either. | |

| I have mixed emotions about school starting. I'm okay with my guys being home, but have gotten tired of the free time they have to run around. I would almost rather them be in school so I don't have to worry about hauling them around so much. BUT...because school starts I also have to keep the two small children I babysit. Their mom is a PE teacher at the High School. SO....my break is over. This also means that we are back to TRYING to work something out with the High School concerning Nathan stolen trumpet. They aren't giving in at all. Its sad really because Nathan has represented them so well. He made region, area and will be going to state this next week. (I've told him to just tell them he is homeschooled! lol He didn't of course.) Enough of that...got off subject...sorry. Just not looking forward to the busy part of school. Another reason to get them raised! It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. | I was heartbroken to have them go back...NOT!!!!.........I get tired of the arguing and cleaning up after them all day long. Right now I'm enjoying my coffee and cleaning up my house with peace and quiet all around me....At least in the summer the kids can go outside and play. They were pretty much inside the whole two weeks. | |

Well, it's never quiet over here...I have the daycare kids still! LOL! Would you like me to send them over, Pam? I can see where your emotions are mixed, Gin...and yes, part of the reason I'm happy to send my boys back is all the free time an 'unproductivity' for two-three solid weeks! Time to get back into a schedule and get some learnin'! Gin, that really stinks about the trumpet situation. I don't blame you for being upset, especially considering how well your son is representing them. It's just not right. LOL--homeshool---good one! Kathy, I soooooooo hear ya sistah!! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Sure, Amy, send them on over. It's lonely with just me, the cat, and the dog, lol. | |

If it was summer...I don't mind at all. At least they can be outside and not cooped up in the house. That's a big differance. |

Ah, those are the days when school is actually FUN! Then they hit middle school. :haha: Savannah, stay safe over there!! Even though we live in the city, my son's district spans a huge rural area too, so they have to think about the country roads. Our main roads are just fine around here though. And LOL Robinsgirl! Your poor mom!! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
