Survivor Fans vs. Favorites

Has anyone been watching this season? My family & I are finally back into it, although we always record it and watch it on Sunday nights.

So far it's been a good season, I think. Phillip is always good for a laugh, Brandon certainly did bring the drama this season, and personally I think I'm kind of rooting for Cochran. So glad Brandon and Shammar are gone. I can't even believe Shammar was a marine.


Hope someone out there is watching so I have someone to talk to about it! LOL! Although I know it airs on Wednesday nights, so I won't come to the thread until the following week to avoid spoilers.

Yeah, no kidding about Shammar... what a lazy bum! Why the heck did he even join?? lol

Also, one of the women from the Fans reminds me of Sandra Bullock :P

I'm watching! I'm rooting for Cochran, too. Carol, that's exactly what my husband and I think!! That girl looks JUST like Sandra Bullock. She even sounds like her.

That's what you call a blindside. LOL!! I'm glad Dawn spoke up last night. Alerting Cochran and Phillip was in her best interest.

I don't like Phillip at all and was hoping that Malolm and Corine's plan had worked.

Corinne was so shocked! That was pretty funny. Phillip is annoying, but he is in an alliance with Cochran and Dawn and those are the two I am rooting for. I didn't know Dawn had 6 kids. Phillip just cracks me up with all his secret agent mumbo jumbo.

Oh my gosh, I LOVED that blindside! I have never liked Corinne and it was hilarious after she had said she had 'never been part of a blindside before' and 'blindside time!' so exuberantly! And then at tribal she made a comment about people never knowing when they're going to get 'punched in the face'! I just love it when someone (like Corinne) thinks they are running the show and then----BAM!

Phillip drives me nuts too but gosh he's funny. He sure does add some flair to the show, unlike some of the 'deadbeats' on there. Like Erik? What the heck?! And a couple of the girls who are just impossible to get to 'know'.


Cochran all the way!!! SO funny when he won the 'food challenge' against Malcolm! Love it!! Bill said he doesn't think I've ever laughed so hard at Survivor as much as I did when Cochran was talking about how this might make him look 'dangerous' to girls. He totally cracks me up.

I was glad Dawn approached Cochran too! Good for her---it's neat to see she's trying hard to play the game differently this time around, and it turned out to be quite the power move. I'm not a big Dawn fan though---she can be pretty annoying and I honestly just can't stand emotional women like that. It seems like she's constantly crying. Not as much this season as the other one she was on, but it turned me off from the get-go with her. That said I wouldn't mind seeing her win, since she is playing the game, and has all those kids.

I'm thankful that Malcolm is still in the game but I fear that he is on the wrong side of the majority.
I can't stand Phillip. Why can't these people see how much they need to get rid of him? (If not for their sake, then for MINE!!)

I think it's so funny at Tribal Council when Phillip starts talking and you can tell that Jeff Probst is trying not to laugh. Especially when he starts talking about the "Stealth" alliance. He's annoying, but it's very entertaining. I'm still rooting for Cochran. In the previews for next week, it shows Dawn crying a lot. Amy, you had mentioned that before. I don't really remember her being so emotional, but the previews look pretty annoying. It's a little over the top. She seemed to be doing so well, too. Maybe she can pull it together.

Brilliant move by Malcolm to get that immunity idol and still have one in his pocket. I'm rooting for Malcom, he's a cool guy in my opinion. If I were on that island, I would ask them to vote me off just to get away from Phillip. What an obnoxious jerkl! I hope they wake up and boot that guy soon!

I am so glad I'm not the only one that cannot stand Phillip! He gets on my nerves so much but I'm thinking the survivors think if they are up against him at the end, there is no way he can win (one can hope).

Cochran is the one I want to win, but one never can tell what will happen in this game. I am glad they brought back the "gross food" challenge!

I can't stand Phillip either. He should vote out soon. Up coming episode of Survivor. Looks like Dawn, want be out of the game. We will have wait and see.

The 3 amigos stand tall! Glad that Dawn got her focus back. Severe lack of sleep will kill you, especially in that environment. I really like Brenda. Sweet girl.

As much as I love Cochran, Brenda is right there with him in terms of who I want to win. I loved that scene between her and Dawn last night.

That was truly a GREAT tribal!!! Phillip is totally entertaining in some ways and yet his antics get very old after too many weeks. It was TIME. Carol, I love your bye bye bye song tribute to him!

With Dawn, I believe it's more than that. This woman is completely unstable. This is one time when I totally agreed with Phillip. She proved that the first time around with her emotional issues and she's even worse this time. Playing a better game this time around, but she is really out there. I have to wonder if she's on some kind of medication that she couldn't take with her to the island? Or maybe this is hormonal. I told my hubby that I bet she's menopausal, but then I checked the Survivor bios and see that she's 42! I honestly had her pegged at about 52.

Brenda lacks personality, in my opinion. She's kind of like Erik...just super quiet and boring. I don't feel like I 'know' her at all. But I did think it was sweet how she helped Dawn and said she won't turn on her. This IS Survivor though so I wouldn't be surprised if she did. The ones who say they won't turn on someone ALWAYS do in the end. This IS a game, after all.

For me it's between Cochran and Malcolm. I hope it's a showdown between the two of them. Would be awesome. Cochran is my #1 though. I love the underdog anyway, but I especially love this underdog.

Here's How I feel about tonites tribal council!

I've always liked Malcolm so I was sad to see him go. I can't believe he couldn't find that idol. I would have been digging for it right in front of Andrea.
