That is truly amazing!  Prayers for France...I am so sorry what is happening with the extremist groups.  This is just insane.

Solidarity with Danemark !

At 5:00 PM EST, a man entered a restricted fence area and was struck and killed by Raptor roller coaster at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. My thought and prayers are with man's family and workers at the park. The tragedy is currently under investigation.

I read about this on facebook news....bad idea. So many thoughtless comments about a person who made a bad choice. What ever happened to people feeling badly for a person and their family?! I like your post, Shell.

I've been to this amusement park many times---it's a big deal for us Michiganders, not a far drive. I'm not a roller coaster person at all but have been on the Raptor and it's one where you are suspended---it's a fun 'easy' coaster for sure. I'm sure this was devastating for the people on the coaster too, that knew what happened while they were on it. Just terrible.

I haven't heard the details.  Do they think it was suicide?

Thank you, Amy. I feel sad for his family. Very sad and tragic situation. I have also read nasty comments. I have been to the park several times. It's my favorite amusement park.

That's really awful All my prayers go to his family.

He should ask one of the employees, who work there. That his cellphone fall out of his pocket. They could get his cellphone for him.

I heard about this on the news. It was such a sad story. I hadn't read any comments after articles about this incident, but I still can't believe people would write such terrible things about a man whose life was lost, no matter what his reason was for going into the restricted area.

Another cop has been shot and killed. A Chicago cop was shot and killed this morning. The manhunt is on for 3 suspects. Seems like a lot of cops have been killed lately.

Missing Child Found Safe in Ohio


I came across this story yesterday and it made me so happy. A boy who went missing in Alabama 13 years ago at age 5 was found in Ohio, and is safe. With all the horrible things that are constantly being reported in the news... I am so glad this young man is safe and sound, even if he still does have a long road ahead of him.
