Yeah, they got a lot of mileage out of Fannie's "bazooms." I always got a kick out of seeing Fannie's answers because she was such a terrible speller. Heh-heh! So I guess you can be a bad speller and a good novelist!

Fannie did have her time with spelling errors, didn't she? Hee hee! I guess those who edited Fried Green Tomatoes had their work cut out for them. LOL! I'm sure they were paid well, though.

Some of the other celebs had their moments, too. I remember one time Richard Dawson was playing the super match. The question was "Pall (blank)." And Gene made sure they knew the spelling: P-A-L-L.

The contestant had a good answer: "Pallbearer." Then Richard showed his answer, "No, sorry, I said Pall Newman."

P-a-l-l Newman?? *sigh* Oh well, at least he was funny. :shifty:
