in the state I live in, you can go anytime for your permit, go any time for the written part of your license, and then you have to make an appointment for the driving part of your license. I haven't talked that much with my parents about even getting my permit, I think that's why I haven't gotten it. plus the driving rules here have changed so the test will be longer! how long was your permit test?

Congrats brother. My wife got her learner's permit last year. Seems they don't drive much in New York.

I can say I've taught someone to drive, but I can also say I've lost years off my life by doing so.

And she's 40!

I wish you luck Jake. Do your best and get that little piece of plastic made of gold just because your name's on it, and it says you can drive anywhere you want. Thumbsup
