| I heard that he actually did say it, but he was kidding around and didn't mean for it to be taken seriously. But like you said Teresa, he and his country have seriously believed he should have won and have made no effort to be quiet about it, so he should have thought about that before he spoke. He is becoming a bigger sore loser the more I hear about him. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Evan Lysacek and US gold medal gymnast Nastia Leukin are an item. They met at some sort of sports function a few years back. They make a really cute couple! LETS GO PENS! | |

| They DO make a cute couple, although I just found this article. I don't think they are dating anymore, according to Evan. He said that he is currently single. Check out the heels that Nastia is wearing in the larger pic of them. I forgot how small she is, compared to Evan's height. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/02/22/nastia-liukin-evan-lysace_n_472195.htmlActually, there are conflicting reports. In another article, it says that Evan has admitted they are dating. Who knows? Evan used to date Tanith Belbin, the ice dancer. | |

| Just watched the women's free skate. All I can say is---- WOW! That was some serious skating right there! I'm very happy with the outcome. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Yes, Rob, I'm happy with her getting the bronze as well. I was so excited when I heard music from "Somewhere in Time," when Rachael Flatt skated. I'm too lazy to look up how to spell the composer's name correctly, but you know who I mean. I love that song! | |

| It's Rachmaninoff, Rhapsody of Paganini. My favorite music of ALL time!! *Edit*....just checked my CD---I was a little off. It's Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini, Op. 43. Just wanted to get that right. I play the theme from Somewhere in Time on the piano, but I have never learned this one. I really need to get the sheet music for it! Joanie Rochette was just on the Today Show. What a strong young lady....I don't think this has truly sunk in to her. You can tell she hasn't actually 'grieved' yet...I'm sure she's in shock. I thought Rachel Flatt was amazing last night....I'm not a huge fan of hers actually----she's more athletic than artistic and I like the more artistic skaters, but last night she left it all out there. I was impressed and so happy for her. I wish she would have placed up there higher. I can't believe how strict the judging is now on these landings---this is something we've never had to deal with in past olympics, not to this extent anyway! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| We used to have such great skaters from the US. What happened? Our 2 girls will be much better next time I bet though once they get more experience.
I had a niece that used to figure skate and she could have went to the Olympics. Figure skating is all about politics. I did not like the judging. Plus it's way to complicated, lol. LETS GO PENS! | |

| I think our two girls were fantastic, but like you said, I just don't think they're mature enough. They both did great for their ages, and I'd say Mirai is just as good as Tara Lipinski was or Sarah Hughes. It's just crazy what you have to do to win now, considering how they judge these rotations. I have to wonder how many former olympic medalists wonder if they would have medaled at all if their landings were scrutinized this intensely, you know? The competition if more fierce than ever, that's for sure. I do agree we're looking good with these two in four years....their jumps look good---they both just lack the sophistication compared to the powerhouses of Yu Na and Mao. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| The US and Canada are going for the gold in hockey this Sunday!!!! I will be happy with either team winning. I also love the bobsledding, one of our US teams is in first place at the moment. They go for gold tomorrow! And did anyone see the short track speed skating races with Apolo Ohno? Possibly his last 2 races in his Olympic career. :(. He was disqualified sadly in one, but his team won bronze in a relay race. I have been following him since he first appeared in Salt Lake in 2002. I really admire this guy, he is a special person and athlete, and just adorable! He and his father have a great relationship. His mom left them when Apolo was a baby I think. LETS GO PENS! | |

| No, . Congratulations Canada and Sidney Crosby. It sure was an exciting game, I sure wish we had won gold, but...we didn't. I feel so bad for Ryan Miller. Feel kinda funny about it, but I'm happy for Canada. Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow. | |

| From everything I'm hearing, this was one of the best hockey games ever! I am SO sorry I missed it.....Ryan Miller is an alumni of Michigan State University, by the way! It sounds like he can be so proud of how he played though. I saw Apolo in an interview this evening, and I can't get over how articulate he is. My family and I were saying he could have a career as a commentator after this. He has such a great attitude too...now there's an athlete kids can look up to. I'm happy to hear that he's not officially retiring as of yet. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| I can't help but be happy for Canada too, and I didn't even see the game! And I agree about Apolo....I can see him doing broadcasting kind of as a side-thing. The world is his playground now---he can do anything! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
