| Hello to my Harvest of Friends, I am writing this to fill you all in on the things that have been happening in my life for the past few years. I will not give details to bore you, but the Readers Digest condensed version. As you read this, please remember that I am asking for prayers. This past Sunday, March 7th, WOULD HAVE been my 30 year wedding anniversary, but I never made it to such, nor did I make it to my 29th anniversary. You see, Sam walked out on me and the boys June 1, 2007 and after a lot of praying and a lot of questions, it was revealed to me that he had cheated on me during our marriage. I found out about this 11 months after he had left, and it finally sank into my head that he was NOT coming back to the marriage. It took me 6 more months just to get up the nerve to go to an attorney and file divorce. So, March 6, 2009 I sat in a court room next to my attorney and watched the Judge bang the gavel down and say, "This marraige is dissolved. IT IS SO ORDERED!" After shedding even more tears, I slowly got up, walked out, and started a new chapter in my life. Many of you know that my middle boy, Jake left for Basic Military Training July, 2007, (a month after Sam walked out) and that this was Josh's senior year in High School. Needless to say, having your dad walk out on you, having your older brother and best friend leave for basic, pretty much rocks your world. Josh went into a deep depression and it took everything I could do to try and keep his head up and his spirits high. He missed a LOT of school and I even had phone calls from the Principal and Assistant Principal questioning his absence from school. Once I explained everything that Josh had been going through, they were right there for him and helped pull him along through school and get the grades needed to graduate. During this time, I too was going through my own depression, but I did not want Josh to know this, as it would only keep BOTH of us in a dark pit, and we needed at least one of us to yank the other up and keep plodding along. I ask for prayers for Josh, since coming back from his own Basic Training and tech school, he is having a hard time adjusting to civilian life as it is. Many of you know that my dearest and sweetest Aunt passed away in August 2008 and it was the hardest funeral I have ever had to attend. She was my best friend and closer than my own mother is to me. I miss her terribly and think of her daily. Her Estate went into Probate from October, 2008 until December, 2009. In that Probate, I was awarded her house, it's belongings and her doll collection. I am now in the process of moving to Missouri to live in that house, which will be difficult for a while, because every where I look, she is there. I have been out of work since April, 2009, and needless to say, jobs are not to be found in this area. Even my next door neighbor has been looking for over a year. She settled for waitressing at some "clubs" that serve alcohol and such....I wouldn't be able to handle the smell of the cigarette smoke, much less the alcohol.....So, I have been looking in Missouri for a job, please pray for this as you continue reading. As you can see, my life has been on a roller coaster for a while, and as exciting as roller coasters are, I am ready for this ride to stop, or at least slow down a bit. On a more positive note, I have met a wonderful man in Missouri, who happens to know many people that my Aunt knew, and he has proved to be a wonderful person as well as friend. We have been 'dating' since May, 2009 and whether or not marriage is in our future, God only knows and that is why I am leaving that up to Him. If things are not meant to be, at least I know that I have found a good friend and someone that I can depend on if I get in a bind. So, as I said when I started this, please pray for all that is going on in my life, in my boys' life and for whatever is in store for us and our future. God got me through my cancer, and so I know He will get me through this.Thank you, my "Harvest of Friends". CANCER FREE!!! April 9, 1998-April 9, 2025-I AM A SURVIVOR!!! | |

| Rhonda, sometimes I swear you've been through more than one person should be asked to handle, but through it all you've displayed courage and strength. I will keep you and your family in prayer as you move forward into the future. | |

| I can only echo what the others have said.....I am sorry you have had to go through so much Rhonda. You have my prayers (and hugs!) too. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| I've told you to hang on so many times. I know you are or you wouldn't have rallied us for prayers on your behalf. You have been a light in my life and if anyone that couldn't see the light you give, then they didn't deserve it. I am sure that this is the first step to you moving forward into happier days. There are reasons we go through tough times. Sometimes it takes years to know why, but I do believe God shows us too. So go build your knew home based on the love and hope as Jan left it, and make it what you know God wants it to be. You now have that power. Love ya...Gin It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart | |

| You certainly have been through so much in your life time. You have kept things together for your boys and I don't know how you were able to do that, you are a very strong and loving mom and person. I just know that things will be brighter for you in Missouri. A fresh start to a wonderful new and exciting life I'm sure. I hope things work out with your friend you met one way or the other. God bless you, and I will be praying for you and your boys. Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow. | |

| That's so true, Rhonda. Hopefully it won't be raining when you take the trip. Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow. | |
