Prayers Please

Subject: Prayers Please Tue Apr 06, 2010 12:40 pm

Yesterday after signing off of here at the library and driving down the road, I got 3 text messages from my boys'. It was all the same thing, my former father-in-law (ex-husband's step father) is in the hospital with kidney failure. I am asking you to pray for him, if not for a recovery, for comfort in his pain and death that may come real soon. I am thinking about driving down tomorrow to visit him in the hospital and pray that he still has his wits about him for a good visit. He is such a good man and he and my former mother-in-law were there for me 100% when I went through my cancer and have been there for my boys as well.......

Sorry to hear about Don, Rhonda. I know he is special to your family. He has been suffering with alot in the past few years. I hope that he finds peace as simply as possible. Give my love to the boys.

Thank you everyone. I am back in Arkansas and was at the hospital visiting with him earlier. He looks good, but is in a lot of pain. I will try and get in as many visits as I can and hope I won't have to make any turn around trips, if you know what I mean. Thanks again for the prayers, they are much appreciated!

That's great that you still have such a good relationship with your former in-laws Rhonda. They sound like wonderful people. I will certainly be praying for him.
