Meet Shadow! :)

Too often people adopt puppies and don't consider how much money and effort goes into taking care of them. I'm sad for Arkie, and most of all angry over such a senseless death. Thank God Shadow was blessed with YOU and your loving care, Carol.

Here is one of the latest pic of Shadow. He's getting bigger every day. He likes to lounge in the chairs in the back porch lol
Pretty soon, he won't be able to fit curled up in the chair like that! lol

Wow! He's gotten HUGE! What a cutie!! You have such a nice backyard, Carol. Very pretty! I bet it takes you a little longer to rub that big belly than it did a couple of months ago. LOL!

I love that!! He's just darling. And I was thinking the same thing Teresa...what a beautiful backyard! I want to sit on your patio with a lemonade. Or a margarita.

Fife is openminded, so he's going to assume that there's an alternate spelling in there that he's never seen before.

I saw that too, Fife. I'll leave it in your hands...............

Well Shadow went for an Autumn walk this morning and he wanted me to take you guys along!

Here is the view he has as he begins his walk. We got snow in the mountains as you can see. :)

There was a man who was walking on the opposite street talking loudly and Shadow sat by to watch him carefully lol

After an hour walk we came home but I had to put lock him up for a little bit while my dad replaced the screen door that the little rascal had ripped the night before! lol

He is so pretty! His coat is just beautiful. Heidi is working on pretty again...poor girl. She just has to keep her sweater on for a while longer. The allergies are better though.

How old is he now?

What a handsome young fella he is, Carol! I especially got a kick out of the pic of him watching the loud man. I love how young dogs take such an interest in everything.

Oh, Carol! I'm amazed seeing how much he has grown up! He is almost a young "man"!

His coat is bright and it shows he is healthy. You are taking care of him lovingly, this one can easily notice.

Well... I have to buy a new window screen.
Shadow is being mischievous! Some of the things he does may be funny but he is on a time out at the moment for ripping my window screen in my room. I was in the living when I heard a sound. I went to my room and this is what I saw!



I had my phone with me and I took this pic before I scolded him! lol Geeez!

He's just like a little toddler, Carol. LOL! What a stinker!!

It's also funny when the top of his head wrinkles... I can just imagine the wheels turning in his head... wondering what he is thinking. LOL

Sometimes I have him follow me around and I show him just different kind of objects and he will get a wrinkle at the top of his head, probably trying to figure out what it is that I am showing him

I can't believe how big he's gotten....look at the size of those paws!! Do you know if he's full grown yet? How old is he now?

He recently turned 7 months old. I hear labs stop growing at 12 months, they continue to grow but very slowly for the following year and the rest, they just fill out with muscle

As Shadow stands at the window, he looks like he's thinking, "Hey, are you gonna help me through? How long do I have to stand here before I get some assistance?" LOL! You're going to have to let him know that the money to fix the screen will be coming out of his treat allowance.
