If your case is mild, maybe you can pull off of it whithout having to have medical treatment. But you must search some advice, and HELP out of your family. If you don't speaks frankly to someone - outside us - about your problem, it could become only worse. If your will is strongh enough, perhaps you can go over your problem. On the other hand, you are not certain if your obsession with the weight issue is nor related to other reasons than merely "loss weight". Anorexia seems to hide other kind of problems, and the person could not even been aware of them. Hope this make sense to you, since my English is poor and the issue too complex ! Vanesa.

| Yes, that was excellent Vanesa, and I'm in total agreement with you. Julia, this is not something you can handle alone, nor should you expect yourself to. There's no shame in getting help for it, and in the long run you'll be so glad you did. Give it some thought. | |

| Julia, this has gone past the point of seeing it through at home. You might only need to talk with someone who would give you a diet plan and then you could check in with once a week. This is a big job for your Mom and she needs you to help her see that. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Julia, I hope you see someone about this. You took a big step in admitting that you had this problem. I see in your post that you stated that this started when you were 13. It took a while to get to where you are now and it will take a while to get to a healthy state again... it's not a matter of your mom saying that you are now eating better. I hope that you can see a doctor about this. Here in town, a lot of people knew this woman who was ALWAYS riding her bicycle. She was soooo thin! I remember one time I stopped at this yard sale and she was passing by with her bike. She stopped and looked very tired, almost out of breath. I asked her if she was okay and she told me she was, that she was just pushing herself extra hard that week because the week before she couldn't do much exercise because she had gotten sick. This woman was extremely thin... it was hard for me to understand why she thought she needed to put herself through that. It's no surprise to say that she passed away... and she was only in her 20s. | |

| Julia, Carol gave you a good advice. The story she told you was NOT an exagertaion. I also knew a girl who died in her 25 for she was suffering anorexia. She was so afraid of her weight that she believed that if she ate a cracker she will become FAT...She was thin as a stick and when people said it to her, she replied she was pretty FAT and that her family and friend wanted her to eat only for they wanted her to be fat...That was horrendous. You were able to see every bone in her body! She did the same than you: wrap herself into plastic bags to loss weight. And she also was a fan of gym. She awaked at the very middle of the night to jump and exercice herself in various kinds of gym proofs. She died in her 25, for she didn't want to be helped by anyone... Vanesa. | |

| Hey! I finally got some sleep. I have been reading extra biology this week and it has been hard to get online. I really am eating well. Ever since I have, I am alwaysssss hungry and my height has improved I think. Hopefully anyway! I am hungry like ever 3 hours practically. I get in bed and my stomach starts growling even. I have written out a healthy diet for me to follow. I will post it hopefully when I get back from shopping but I am rather proud of it indeed. Also, last night I came up with a saying, "Moderation-not starvation." "The beauty of a woman is incredibly radiant when she finds her identity, her confidence, & her hope in Christ alone. "

| Okay! Here is the new "diet"!
Breakfast Choices: K-Bar, cereal, or yogurt. Drink green tea. Lunch Choices: Sandwhich with diced apples and water, or soup with crackers and water. Dinner--Whatever is served in good, healthy portions. Drink juice or a small soda. Dessert choices: Twizzlers (those are my absolute favorites!) or Ice Cream Bar. Snack choices: K-Chips (In Savory Herb flavor!), vegetable chips, or fruits. What's funny is that ever since I have been eating normal, I have lost even more weight! Funny huh? That sounds a lot like my cousin. In high school, she was always going on crash diets. Finally she just decided to stop worrying about it and start eating healthy. Within a month, people were asking her, "Wow, what diet are you on?" Sometimes when you eat well, your metabolism rewards you.
