| We had horrible storms today. A town about 40 miles from me was damaged by a tornado. A high school had it's roof ripped off as well as other damage. Some houses were completely leveled as well. Luckily no one was injured or killed. Please pray for those who lost their home and other belongings. We rarely get tornadoes here. The goofy thing is that it is going to snow tomorrow. Mother nature is being a real jerk, not just here but all over the world like in Japan and Haiti. LETS GO PENS! | |

| I'm sorry to hear about the destruction - but very thankful to hear that nobody was killed! I'll be praying for those who lost so much. | |

| Prayers going for the victims. I know that nobody was hurt and I'm thankful for it, but material loss is also sad...Many people worked to make that town, so many dreams must have been distroyed by the tornado... Vanesa. | |

| Very sad. Picking up from this kind of destruction can be very hard. I'll be praying for everyone. | |

| There was a couple that just built their house. They were going to move in that day, but stayed the night somewhere else thank God. But sadly they have to build it all over again. One family had their boat picked up out of their yard and land many feet away in the woods. Lots of people are now starting to burn the debris. LETS GO PENS! | |

| We usually don't get them here. They happen more north in the state. We did have one here in the city a few years back. Luckily I was at piano lesson when it happened just miles from my house. LETS GO PENS! | |

| Sorry about being less sympathetic Matt but X-mass, New Years Eve, and Easter tornadoes hit my area and all 3 people died and roofs torn off. A whole town was flattened exept for a church full of people (you could still see most of buildings). On Easter a town 10ish miles away was compleatly flattened. The hill it was on litterly was turned into A FIELD! All those Tornadoes happened the day befor the holiday/new year.
Sorry Again about being less sympathetic but the same thing happened here in Missouri to. Ying and Yang, Good and Evil, Light and Dark.. All are 2 sides to their own coin. Niether can live with each other, but none can also live without the other.

| It's been a horrible year for tornadoes....just devastating. I've had my mind on the states down South struggling still to pull their lives together. And then there are the families of the victims, trying to go on without their loved ones. My heart and prayers go out to all those faced with the challenges ahead. | |

| My cousin Ryan and family are really struggling right now with Post Tramatic Stress Syndrome I guess.....every time a wind or rain blows up they get really scared. They have moved from Joplin, MO to Pittsburg, MO. Housing was really hard to find, and they are just trying to put a routine back together for their autisic son Matthew. Prayers for them would be appreciated still. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. That's awful, Gin. I'll definitely keep them in my prayers. Most of our families that were displaced by the June 1st tornadoes now have some place to live, but in three of our communities the shelters remain open. It makes my heart sick when I drive through town and see the changed landscape around here and all the destroyed homes. | |

I'm sure it does Cheryl....I can't imagine. Your area certainly took a beating this past year, between the winter storms and tornadoes.
