| I was just wondering if for those who have the DVD's, do you watch the seasons in order and watch every episode or do you skip around and watch only certain seasons? When I first recieved a few seasons on DVD, I would watch the whole season and every episode in order. It's been a long time since I've done this and I want to get back to doing it.
I now have all 9 seasons except for the pilot and the three finale movies and the last season I watched was the beginning of Season 9. If I had continued I could have been on Season Two or Three by now! So I guess my post is a question with in a question. Should I continue watching Season 9 where I left off or start all over with Season 1?
I am anxious to hear from other Little House fans here on the board on what your take is on watching each season and if I should continue watching Season 9 or start all over again with Season 1.

| I started doing that, but just don't have the time. I usually pick out one episode I want to watch or a portion of an episode I need to verify for a fan fiction story I'm working on at the time.

| Nope...I don't watch them in order. I like the later seasons better so I tend to go for those when I'm in a Little House mood.

| I have them recorded from TV in VHS system. I don't watch them in order. I like t "jump" from one in which the girls are really little to the latest ones when they were women and married. I like the contrast between the earlier episodes and the end of the series. Vanesa. | |

| I bought the DVD set (in the covered wagon packaging) just after Christmas 2009, and I've been watching the episodes in order since then at a pace of about two or three episodes per week. I haven't yet made it all the way through the series. Earlier this evening, I watched "The Lost Ones (Part I)", which is the second to last episode of season 7. The only exception I made to watching in order was I watched "The High Cost of Being Right" shortly aftern Merlin Olsen died, as that was an episode that featured his character prominently. I tend to skip around on the features. I watch them from time to time when I feel motivated and have the time. Once I go through the series once, I'll probably start over in order, but the second time through I might occasionally watch some of the early episodes while I'm going through the later episodes, as I have a preference for the early episodes. | |

| I like to try to watch them in order once every so many years, but I generally lose interest before I get all the way through. It's a lot of episodes to watch of the same people! | |
