When it Rains, it Pours!

Just received a text from my oldest son, BJ. He said Grandma had to put her dog down tonight, she was having problems breathing and putting a trache in didn't go right for her.....Grandma just buried her husband on Monday, and now she has to bury her dog....Please keep Mildred in your prayers. She is in SO much pain right now....Thank you.

I'm sorry I missed this Rhonda. How is Mildred doing?

She is doing well...her oldest daughter has been staying with her and making sure she is doing ok...Josh lives out there as well, not in her house, but next door to it. She is strong, so I know she will move forward.....just has to recover from the blow...she isn't one to give up. Thanks for asking Amy.

UPDATE: PLEASE keep praying for Mildred......After answering Amy's question, I messaged my niece to see how Mildred (Grandma) was and here is part of her reply:

My mom is there and has been most of the past couple weeks. She's darted home for a couple of days here and there, but has been there to help get Grandma through all of the unpleasant business stuff (lawyers, banks, financial planners, death certificate... sheesh, it's a lot of red tape you have to go through when you lose someone).

Today, she said, was kind of hard for Grandma. I don't know if something particular happened or if it was just how these things come in waves and hit all at once. But when my mom got out from the shower, she found her crying on the couch. I think a few more sympathy cards had come in. Rhonda, you should see the stack of cards she has... I bet it's almost a foot tall. She and Don are loved by so many.
