"Meet Me at the Fair" - Mary's voice/dub aggravate

Hi, gang.

Every time I watch "Meet Me at the Fair", the scene w/ Mary going up in the balloon get's me all... Aarrghh banghead

It's the voice/dub/edit thing. Just before the camera is on her, we see the balloon but here here saying something like - "Tell Ma and Pa I'll be back in a minute. Alright?" Then the camera goes to Laura and then to Mary where she puts her hand beside her mouth and says - "Tell Ma and Pa I'll be back in a minute. Alright?" I hate that! Arggh! You can clearly tell that it's the same exact voice, tone, wording, timing, and anything else it takes to let you know that it's a recording.

Okay, it may not be a big deal to you, but it's just something that sticks with me and bothers me. LOL! Yeah, I know they have to dub in voices at times, depending on the location and/or background noise. I figured they had to make some adjustments for the sound/view because of the loud noises from the balloon and other surroundings, so I'm not completely lost, I guess.

Well, I just needed to vent on that topic. It's my own little annoyance from LHOTP and now I've shared it with you. grinsmiley

I perfectly understand. I have a similar problem when I see the German translation sometimes. If they don't fit exactly it get's me all confused and it distracts me from the actual scene...
