"Divorce, Walnut Grove Style" - Laura fights a man

Katherine did a scene, I forget which season, but her character fell off a horse. Katherine was injured and Mrs Foster had to step in and continue the next scene of Harriet knocking on someone's door. Dean talks about this incident on the dvd's.

There is a scene from Bonanza where Little Joe falls of a cliff. It is so a dummy. It's all floppy and stuff as it's falling, lol.

I have noticed this as well.....I love how they think they are fooling us...but I suppose back then...they did! lol

I read someplace here that Katherine McGregor rode a little during the scene when she was on the runaway horse, and then a stunt man did the harder stuff. But I've watched the scene where "she" falls off and it always looks like a mannequin. It falls like one, it's stiff like one. No expression or anything that's life-like.

I've watched both of these scenes on slow-mo and I still say... mannequin.

I haven't seem those clips,That I can't remember.
But on "School Mom" When Miss Beadles horse is sceard,and it runs off.And she falls off,It looks like her,and really painful,lol.Did she do that stunt herself? I think it is her.....?
It's a wonder she didn't hurt herself for real,lol.

Yes...It looks as a mannequin, and it is not impossible it was. The shoot SEEMS to be short for us, but I suppose that when they were running the scene, it lasted very long, and they must also have EDITED it.

It's pretty common they would use a mannequin in these kind of shoots.

I never notice any of these things I wish I would. Next time I see these episodes. I will for sure watch carefully! :shifty:

I always start out watching certain episodes, thinking that I'll try to catch the bloopers people have mentioned. But I get so caught up in the show, that I forget to watch for a blooper.

Me too! I'm really bad at seeing these things. Sometimes I catch these "logical" things, but usually not even those...

this was a good episode! sad for Laura, but still good. though I certainly do not like Brenda Sue's character! Laura really showed who she was when she got into a fight with Brenda Sue!

I did not like Brenda Sue's character right from the beginning. it seemed like she acted too close to Almanzo, even after she met Laura, his wife!
