It's $2.85 here right now, and the brilliant, kind-hearted, compassionate governor of my state has decided in her great wisdom that the devastating economic conditions of the state, and the massive unemployment rates really haven't impacted the average families....and that we "can afford to pay more for gas" than we are now. This is the same governor who decided that the governor of this state should take a pay cut.......As soon as she leaves office.

I shall refrain from saying "I told you so" to all of those who voted her in for a second term. (But I did tell them so. batEyes

WHAT IS THE DEAL???? It was said, that over the Memorial Weekend, we had so much gas stored up, there was no reason whatsoever to raise the prices for the busy weekend of travel......and now, they are gouging us since it is almost summer and the vacation season is getting ready to start......

$2.49 as of yesterday.. one day a couple'a weeks ago it was $2.49 when I went to work, $2.89 when I went home for lunch, and $2.69 when I drove home.. the only good thing about it was the job security for the guy changing the signs!

We're at $2.71, down from $2.94.
