| $2.65 last time I was at the gas station. It's down from $2.69, though, so it's nice to see it heading down a little again. | |

| Our stations here can't make their minds up. It runs anywhere from $2.39 to $2.45 now. What I don't understand is why there can be a .6 difference. ITS CRAZY! Wow, that would be an awesome price now. It's $3.65 here now. (Which is still significantly less than $1.43/liter! Yikes! That works out to about $5.41 per gallon.) | |

Their reasoning is, the paid, say, $50 for a 55-gallon barrel of crude. So they have all these barrels they paid $50 each for, so even if you see the cost of crude go down, they still have to make a profit off the $50 barrels, so the price goes up for gas or stays the same, cuz they've got to pay for the crude they bought at $50, PLUS make some money for the inevitable next price rise. While it might make sense, it's still a jab for us. | |
