I LOVE things like that! It's been so cloudy, I was sure that we wouldn't be able to see the eclipse tonight. But the sky was actually mostly clear tonight, and there was a beautiful view of the eclipse!!  Cheer

Wish I'd said that. grinsmiley

I wanted to watch it, but I was scared. We learned in school that a lunar eclipse is caused by a dragon eating the moon. Maybe our textbooks weren't real up to date though.

Actually I really wish I'd seen it! I love stuff like that, and we had clear skies. But somehow I just didn't hear about it till after it was done. No

The clouds cleared RIGHT at 10pm so we got a decent look...for all of a minute. It was pretty neat! The guys were all out there braving the cold for awhile...my mom & I took more or less a 'glance' and went back in! batEyes

Oh, I'm sorry that some of you missed it because of the clouds! That usually happens here, so I know how disappointing that is!

I thought I saw an eclipse once.

Turns out I was drunk and passed out on the lawn, and the object blocking the moon was my wife.

She wasn't happy.

ROTFL Larry, it's never a dull moment with you around here!

And I myself also was relaxing watching TV and forgot about it until I heard it being talked about on the radio the next morning. If I remember, I would've taken your approach, Amy - a quick glance then back inside away from the cold!

Our local radio station broadcast the eclipse. "The earth's shadow has begun to move across the moon." [20 minute pause] "Now it's covering a little more." [20 min pause] "Now it's covering slightly more." It was fascinating. batEyes
