| I would really appreciate pray for my friend Ashley. She had emergency surgery this morning to have blood taken out of her stomach. Even beyond this problem she could use prayers. I'm not certain if she's saved (she definitely has been taught), but she really needs to find peace with herself. She has been taking various medications- exactly what, I don't know- and becomes depressed very easily. When she's depressed she drinks rather excessively. Also on Thursday there was an accident at a school in the area. The kids were leaving and as one of the kids left his truck fishtailed and he hit two girls who were walking home. To make matters even worse the father of one of the girls witnessed the accident and went over to the driver and beat him. I haven't been able to get much of an update on any of the three, but the last thing I heard was that the driver is in worse shape than the girls. I did hear that the one girl's leg was broken, but how badly, I don't know. | |

| I'll pray for all of them, but specially for Ashley, since she seems to need desperately all kind of prayers. She sounds to me as a rather conflicted person. She must indeed be very depressed. Hope the girls and the driver are O.K at the time I'm writing this. Please, keep us udpated. Vanesa. | |

| Ashley's surgery went well and she's supposed to be released from the hospital today. Apparently one of her ovaries ruptured! I haven't visited her yet, but a friend did and she said that Ashley had a pretty good sense of humor for just having surgery. The two girls who were injured in the accident have both been released from the hospital, but the boy is still in intensive care. | |

| Oh my goodness. I am afraid that the man who caused these injuries by attacking will be finding himself on the wrong side of the law. Even though it was his daughter, this was not self defence.

This makes me absolutely sick. That poor kid! It's not like what he did was anything malicious!! People are just crazy these days, CrAzY I tell you. Like Marilyn said, if nothing else he'll be in trouble with the law, but I'm not sure how he'll live with himself if this boy dies. On a happy note, I'm glad to hear your friend is ok.

| An ovary blowout! Goodness, fix a flat wont do much for that. Glad they found the problem. Sounds like God is trying to get her attention. Maybe this will do that?? As for the Dad, I understand his immediate anger BUT the reaction will surely cost him. Glad the girls are okay.....boy, alot of healing needed in all ways now.
Kerissa, go take pictures and release the stress! Thats an order! It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart

| Thanks for the update. It's too bad about the boy and the girl's father. Nothing good comes out of letting your anger get the better of you. Ask me, I know. | |

| You are all right. People are getting plainly CRAZY nowadays. I can uderstand the father of the girls was angry but what he did was a stupidity much worse than anything the boy could do. Vanesa. | |

| The father's reaction to witnessing the accident received quite the discussion on facebook. I haven't heard anything lately on the driver. Ashley was released from the hospital late Monday night and will be living with her parents while she recovers. Yes, I definitely hope that this wakes her up. She's had a few other incidences the past few months, but nothing to this extreme. Sunday night I took a card to church and asked everyone there to sign it. Several people exclaimed, "But she doesn't know me!" to which I replied, "If it leads her life back to Christ isn't your signature worth it?" They didn't argue that one. lol Gin! I definitely am over-do for a photo spree, especially since I just purchased a new camera! With the bad weather and exceedingly cold temperatures I haven't wanted to take the reincarnated Floyd outside! | |
