I have met the twins who played Carrie and although they may not have been a great actress in some people's opinion, they are both doing well in the careers that they chose for themselves. Maybe it just wasn't their thing. I think they did a great job.

Rhonda, I believe, from what I have heard, that David Swanzey her husband also came up with the name of Mt Rushmore. I have been to the mountain and David's grave.

What I thought was odd was that Carrie had better lines earlier...they were cute then, but some of her older lines were infantile...the writers didn't have her grow with her age. I had heard she was a little slow but maybe not with the information above. They never really discussed her schoolwork or had her interact very much with extras at school.
Grace was too little but you could see it would be the same with her if the show stayed on.

...that Carrie still sounded like a toddler when she was an adolescent? What's with the baby talk?? I also wonder what Lindsay and Sidney thought of it.

I just watched this episode- she said "I want a new dress for my dolly".
