| That one is a great example of how political correctness is wrecking the country. What was Carolyn supposed to say? "Ill see you but you won't see me!"
GIVE ME A BREAK! "Albert, do you REALLY think you are old enough to know what love is?" "I must be Pa. I love you, I have for a long time."

That kind of thing makes me long for the simpler times. I know things were tough back then, but they had it better than us in a lot of ways.

| That was simply an expression. She was talking to Adam whose life was all about blindness. He had overcome all the sensitive talk by then...he was above letting something as simply as that get to him. He knew she was just hoping he would be in church to join the family. Caroline's character was as kind as they come. Whoever "white Chocolate" is doesn't get the meat of the show. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart | |

| Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who don't get it........ "Albert, do you REALLY think you are old enough to know what love is?" "I must be Pa. I love you, I have for a long time." | |

| Yeah, it's just a figure of speech, which I would take to mean something like, "I'll be in church tomorrow, and I'll be glad you will be there too." It's much easier, less formal, and I would say more friendly to just say what Caroline said. | |

| Isn't "See you in church tomorrow" the proper way to say it? Even if that person can see or is blind.
Logan aka Wolverine says that. Little different. Don't get your panties in bunch.

| Actually... if one thinks of it grammatically there isn't anything wrong with it.
"See you in church tomorrow." equals "I'll see you in church tomorrow."
Obviously, Caroline has her sight so she is speaking the truth and there is nothing offensive about it. She's not telling Adam that "He'll see her in church tomorrow."

| Good point Kerissa. I think people just LOOK for ways to make fun of shows like LH. They just need to leave it alone and stick with what they enjoy. To each their own. I agree. Caroline didn't say anything bad. I love the show and I always will. | |

| That's quite idiot...In fact neighbors DID help Pa to do things in his house and lands. We must not be a communist to help a nrighbotd to do fine...I just think that the TV show WANTED Charles to keep quite poor and living in a very little house. Vanesa. | |
