Good point Kerissa. I think people just LOOK for ways to make fun of shows like LH. They just need to leave it alone and stick with what they enjoy. To each their own.

Kerissa? scratchead

I agree. I'm sure the writers thought the story would be much more compelling as well as applicable if the Ingalls stayed poor...

OK ALL, IM GOING TO THROW MY TWO CENTS WORTH IN.
THE MESSAGE OF LITTLE HOUSE WAS LOVE, A FAMILY BEING HAPPY AND STICKING TOGETHER WHENEVER THINGS GOT ROUGH. MATERIAL THINGS DIDN'T MATTER. REMEMBER WHEN CHARLES CAME BACK FROM THE REUNION WITH CAROLYN, GOT OFF THE STAGE AND SAW THE KIDS RUNNING OUT OF THE HOUSE. HE SAID " IF THATS NOT BEING RICH, I DONT KNOW WHAT IS"
THAT'S THE MESSAGE MICHAEL SENT IN LITTLE HOUSE. LOVE OF FAMILY AND APPPRECIATING THE LITTLE THINGS.
UNFORTUNATELY, THAT IS IN SHORT SUPPLY TODAY. THE WORLD HAS EVERYTHING TODAY. SURE HAS MADE THE WORLD HAPPY HASN'T IT!
DAVE

"Albert, do you REALLY think you are old enough to know what love is?"
"I must be Pa. I love you, I have for a long time."

I wonder how they felt when they moved away from Walnut Grove.

The house they live in in the episode where Albert has the nosebleeds, is VERY pretty.
