I pray when his time comes and at 19, it's close, the owner can feel the support of others and not fall into despair. All pet owners have been there or will be, but it's never easy.

Thats so sweet. My Mom is getting ready to put her 18 yr old cat to sleep soon. She is so tiny, but still eating. She just has so many problems now.
