Road Trip

Hello Everyone I took a Road trip on the 12th of September and came back 21 of September, so i though i would share it with all of you, My plan was to go to Niagara Falls Ontario I took the route through the USA so i got to see couple of States Like Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan is more Beautiful then i thought it was I stop at Mackinaw City, also went to Mackinac Island, Went to St Ignace to Climb Castle Rock, just breath taking Scenery, I continued onto Niagara Falls Also very Beautiful i had couple other Places Planned but time was to short but i had a Blast on the Trip i also got to visit some relatives in Ontario, i was going to stop at Pepin Wisconsin at Laura Museum but like i said didn't have enough time the Trip was kind of a last minute thing i just needed to get away for awhile

Where are your relatives in Ontario? I agree, .michigan is a lovely state but I usually see it from the air. Too bad you missed Pepin, it's pretty neat.

I agree!! That Lake MI pic is remarkable! And my jaw dropped open when I scrolled to the Mac bridge one! REALLY great pics, Jacob!

Marilyn They live in the Leamington most of them live on farms, Is that anywhere Close to you?I thought of you lots while in Ontario everytime i went into a Tim Hortons i found my self looking around if you were working there

Amy I am definitely gonna go to the Island again also i wanna visit more places in the States, I was Surprised at how many Trees Michigan has i saw hardly any Fields Don't you have grain farmers out there? Also lots of Dears i saw 4 at one time it was in town i was really amazed at that

Jacob, I am a few hours from Leamington. I live north of Toronto and T.O. is about 4 hrs from where you were. Let me know if you ever get as far as Toronto and I'll give you directions to get up here, ok. Goad to hear that you put my fellow Timmy's workers to the grind.

I loved your pictures. Especially the sunset. I am always so jealous of people who managed to take such beautiful shots as that.

That is really too bad that you didn't get to Pepin. How much of Wisconsin did you actually get to see? I always like to brag about my state but I rarely talk to anyone who has ever been here.

Miss Oleson I did't know you lived in Wisconsin I only went through it a very little bit i think i was in Wisconsin about 4 hours the names of the towns i went through have totally slip my mind though i will have to look at the map again

Well, from what I figure, you were probably mainly "up north". I am way down on the southeastern part of the state.

And hey! We have Little House things down here, too. Well, basically a marker for Caroline and the gravesites of her parents (that also has a marker). But that is something Little House, isn't it?

Those are some absolutely beautiful pictures, Jacob!! And, I am so jealous you got to see the Grand Hotel. I have been wanting to get there for some time now. I haven't been to Mackinac Island since I was a child and have always wanted to go back. Thanks for sharing your pictures. It is really good to see you here, Jacob. You have been missed!!

Beautiful pictures, Jacob! My brother lives in Michigan about 30 miles from Lapeer. I've always wanted to go up there & see Niagara Falls & cross over into Canada. And I agree, its good to see you post!

We do but they are more in the central and southern part of Michigan. A lot of land has been scoffed up over the years in the country areas near our city, to make way for subdivisions. LOTS of trees in Northern and upper Michigan, which is why I love those areas so much.

Glad you had such an awesome trip! The lighting in the photos was perfect in every one! GREAT WORK!!
Michigan is on my bucket list. I'm going there one day and I wont be rushed thats for sure!!

Amy I am glad you get to enjoy the picture so much knowing that a person from Michigan likes it means a lot, But my pictures can never truly show how beautiful it was i had a motel close to the lake and every morning i found my self getting up early to take a walk to the lake to watch the sunrise

900 pics?!? I thought I was bad when I took my Mediterranean cruise 4 years ago w/350! You got me beat for sure!

A true photographer knows no limits! The more you take the more memories you make! Might want to think about this as a career Jacob!
