| Who's watching the premiere tonight? It's their "all-star" edition, with celebs who've already competed. I'm not real crazy about that concept; I prefer being surprised (for better or worse) by dancers I know nothing about.
Here are the couples:
Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy Pamela Anderson and Tristan MacManus Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya Giles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy Apolo Anton Ono and Karina Smirnoff Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke

| I am not watching tonight, but I am torn. I really enjoyed last season! But I think I feel like you do, Rob, that we've already seen these people! I understand why they're doing it...I mean, other shows have 'all star' seasons. I sure did like Helio though, and of course Apolo! I guess there are bunch I haven't seen yet, either. | |

| I didn't. I thought I might try to catch it, but I really only watched it for Melissa Gilbert last season. Maks is leaving after this season, so that might be a reason to catch a few episodes. | |

| Maks is leaving?! I didn't know that! There was a time when I really would have missed him, but that day is gone. Kind of like my past infatuation with Mel Gibson. | |

| Guess I shouldn't be surprised that Maks is wanting to pursue acting....he IS quite the charmer and exudes (over)confidence. I couldn't stand to watch him though---he has gone so far down in my opinion. I know MG seems to still adore him, but I have seen enough. | |

| Go Apolo!!!!! The only reason I am watching this season. Plus taking ballroom lessons I can notice and appreciate things much more. But this is much more complicated than what I am learning. I don't know how these stars do it, lol. LETS GO PENS! | |

| They didn't show the night of competition here last night because of the Packer game. So I didn't see any of it. I did see the results tonight, though. There are a few people on this show that I just want off of there, but I know they will be on for awhile. So I might avoid it this year.
Honestly, the ONLY one that I want to win is Gilles Marini. I think he was COMPLETELY robbed the year he was on. So I am pulling for him.
I don't know if I will watch much of it, though. I am OK with an all-star season. I just don't like the way that they are doing it. I would much rather have seen a season of all second place contestants. All the ones that never got the trophy (i.e. Gilles Marini). Then, the next season (or maybe the one after that would be better) they could have a championship season (all the trophy winners competing). Then a few seasons later maybe have an all around all-star competition. Just not now. I wish it was more the second place contestants only. I think I would be more interested in this this year than I am if it were that way. Who's going to do the cooking?!?!

| The only reason I am sad that Pam is gone is that Trystan is gone. Love me some Irish men, lol! He always gets stuck with the crappy dancers. So not fair! LETS GO PENS! | |

I agree. He doesn't seem to get the best partners. On the up side, once he's eliminated, he can dance with the other pros.

| I decided Tuesday night that I am not going to watch it anymore. I am kind of frustrated at the results. The only people I wanted to see towards the end were Drew Lachey, Gilles Marini, Helio Castroneves and Joey Fatone. Well, Joey Fatone is now gone (which NEVER should've happened this week) and that made me lose interest. Seriously. There is no reason for that to have happened. I find it hard to believe that Bristol Palin got so many votes that she stayed. I just don't get it. This is the thing that aggravates me during a regular season, too, with the worst dancer of the week - or season - always managing to hang on no matter what.
While I would still like to see Gilles Marini win his overdue trophy, I lost interest in it this week. Oh, well. Who's going to do the cooking?!?!

| I haven't watched a single episode of this season. I wouldn't really consider any of the cast as "all stars" They should have brought back Jennifer Grey, then I would have watched. | |
