| Ok, I'm taking a little poll here. Personally, I think the best tv shows were from the 70's & 80's...but that's just me! Anyway, from that era, what are your guilty pleasures? I know...so many shows...it will take me forever to list the ones I like. First of all...if you had to pick between BRADYS & PARTRIDGES...who would you pick? Also, from the one you've chosen, which is your favorite episode? I really love the Brady Bunch...yes I'm a geek, but I do! I know all their episodes by heart. However, if I had to pick between the 2, I'd pick "The Partridge Family." I'm definitely more of a Partridge gal! I think I have 2 favorite episodes..."The memory lingers On" (aka, skunk episode), and the one where Keith...America's hearthrob...flunks sex education! I love David Cassidy..but when I was about 8, my first crush was on his brother Shaun! **swoon** Special mention goes to the Bradfords from "Eight is Enough." Loved that show... There's way too many though...alright "fellow nerds," 'fess up! LOL | |

| The Brady Bunch and The Partridge Family? Kind of like picking your two favorite diseases........ I'll have to think on that one! "Albert, do you REALLY think you are old enough to know what love is?" "I must be Pa. I love you, I have for a long time." | |

| I always got "The Lucy Show" and "Here's Lucy" confused. I thought they were the same show, but I don't think they were. Which is the one were her kids starred in? | |

| Here's Lucy I think, that was in color too...my first time with our color TV set, I saw her red hair, it was on in the morning and the delivery man left and that was the first picture I remember. LoL
I remember having my first crush on Bobby Sherman and watching the ill-fated "Here Comes the Brides". I loved that show, although it probably was awful, and had my hair done like "Candy Pruit" from there for a wedding when I was 12. : )
I never liked David Cassidy, too skinny, so it tainted Partridge Family but I liked the bubble gum music for a few years. Brady Bunch, well Davy Jones stopping by was a good one for me. : ) | |

| Brady Bunch was my favorite...used to know them all by heart but I doubt I would now, it's been too long. Favorite one would probably be when Bobby & Cindy get lost in the Grand Canyon. Also when Bobby & Cindy try to set a record on the teeter totter. I always thought the Bobby/Cindy centered ones were cute, probably because I was closer to their age and could relate. Hmm, we're the same age Julie, but aparently my hormones developed later, lol! While you were in love with Shaun Cassidy I was pining over "Chris" in Partridge Family! I do remember my older sister being in love with Shaun though (everything everywhere in our house said, "Shaun is a Fox" on it. ). He was definitely a cutie...has aged nicely too! My main classic TV line-up was: Brady Bunch Partridge Family Laverne & Shirley Happy Days My Three Sons Bewitched Gilligans Island The Munsters Please Don't Eat the Daisies That Girl | |

| Amy, just a little context... Chuckles the Clown was the host of a children's show at the TV station where Mary worked. He met his demise when he was marching in a parade dressed as Peter Peanut, and a rogue elephant killed him. Although his co-workers thought the world of Chuckles, the circumstances of his death struck them as absurd, and they couldn't stop making jokes about it. Mary didn't see the humor it in, and was appalled at their insensitivity. They finally straightened up at his funeral. However... | |

| You are dead on right about that episode Rob! I remember it like it was yesterday. I never laughed so hard in my life as when I watched that one. It gave Black Humor a new meaning....Hilarious! Talk about brilliant writing! "Albert, do you REALLY think you are old enough to know what love is?" "I must be Pa. I love you, I have for a long time." | |
