Favorite characters?

:woohooo: Now I'm not sure if there has been a board about this yet or if this is the right place to put this board, but I thought it would be fun to make a board on Favorite Characters from the Little House TV show!! my favorite characters are: Albert Ingalls, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Charles Ingalls, and Nels Oleson. I like Albert and Laura because they were the perfect siblings and friends. They were always scheming and having fun together. I like Charles because he always knew what to do in a tough situation and he was always helping someone else. I liked Nels Oleson because he was funny to me and he had a good way with putting up with his wife and children.

You named some of my very favorites too! I loved the dynamic between Albert and Laura, and Nels was just the best! Can you even imagine any other actor playing him?! It's hard for me to pick just one favorite (honestly if it came down to it, it would be Laura), but Ma comes very close the top of my list too. Thumbsup

thank you for the welcome! it's good to know that there are some nice people in this forum! I agree with you on Nels Oleson, no other actor could have played him. If you've seen Little House as much as I have, you just get used to certain characters and certain actors!

welcome! my favorite is probably Albert and Willie. I like Nels Oleson too. Charles was like the perfect father (besides my dad)!

My Favorite are Mr Edwards of course and the whole Ingalls Family except Cassandar and James i did't like them as much as the other ones

Laura and Charles would be my top two. For third, I'm going with Willie Oleson. He was funny and was really only mean when Nellie dragged him into one of her schemes. Also, Willie grew up to be a serious and responsible young man.

Caroline and Charles are my favourites. They had a beautiful relationship through good times and bad, always had time for one another as well as their children and tried to live their lives according to their Christian beliefs.

Well, I have to say that Doc Baker is my favorite... Wink

But, I really love Charles and Caroline...and of course Laura, there would be no show without them. I agree, Nels is a great character, as well as Mr. Edwards. And, I love Lars...I wish his (Karl Swenson's) health could have been better so that we could have seen Lars more in later seasons.

My favorites include Albert (did anyone have to guess? LOL!), Laura, Mary, Charles and Caroline. I also love Nels and Reverend Alden too, and Miss Beadle was a school teacher I certainly would have loved to have. She was wonderful with her students.

I'll start. Mine is Albert, because he is such a cute little kid, he makes me laugh, and he always has these adorable clever things to say.

Well Jessica, it's really hard for me to make up my mind. But its a toss up between these four. Why? Great acting, and just an all around great guys!

My favorite characters are Mary (since when I was a girl I was very much like her. I liked to read and wasn't awfully outspoken grinsmiley

), Laura (she was so livelly and joyfull, and bright), Charles (the best Pa ever existed in the world!), and Ma (the sweetest mother it could be ; so strong and delicate at the same time) Smile

But I also likes very much the Olesons...All of them! And Mr. Edwards, because he was not a gentleman, but he hat a heartt made of pure gold, and he was so clownn-ish! Laughing
