Tis the season and so I thought some of you might post some favourite Christmas cookie recipes in this post.  We are NOT cookie bakers in this house, cookie making is a terrible chore because they never look normal.  They just always seem to flop, no matter what type they are. Mom and I get very frustrated. BUT, we do take a day out of the December calendar to make Christmas cookies.  Will have to try some of these!

Those are my traditional cookies that I make every year and everyone 'expects' me to bring to the gatherings.  But honestly, these taste SO much better with frosted flakes.  I've tried cornflakes versions at parties and they're almost inedible.  I kind of have this recipe down to a science, lol, so I'll modify it here...hope you don't mind, Rhonda!  I think I've got it posted here somewhere too:

1 stick real butter
32 large marshmallows (melted) (yes, I count them exactly---trust me)
1 tsp vanilla (I actually like 3/4 tsp, a little less sweet)
1/2 tsp green food coloring (more like 1 tsp if you want the really dark green)
4 1/2 cups frosted flakes

You must work quickly with this recipe---I place on wax paper.

I used to use the cinnamon dots but no one likes them so I leave them off now.

It really doesn't get easier than this recipe and everyone loves these! Thumbsup
