- I'm not a film editor, but it seems to me that if you need more commercial time, cut out scenes of a wagon coming down the street, or a sunset, or a scene not integral to the telling of the story.......I really don't need to see a long shot of Charles talking to a farmer when I could hear a heartfelt conversation between he and Jonathon......
They need to get the remastered episodes into syndication and take the above advice and only edit out non-talking scenes whenever time must be cut for commercials. I believe if the remastered episodes were in syndication, Little House would get a whole new generation of fans. I'm not sure about Hallmark since Uverse hasn't had it since 2010, but the episodes on INSP look downright horrible on HDTVs and channel surfers coming across it probably keep on surfing. The remastered episodes look best in HD, but would show a huge improvement in picture quality even on non-HD channels.

Did you guys get HD or HDX? Hey Carol, Toby bought HDX from VUDU. I'm just getting a few episodes from Amazon to look for deleted scenes. Hopefully, soon, I'll be able to find the HD remastered DVD's in an actual store........... "Albert, do you REALLY think you are old enough to know what love is?" "I must be Pa. I love you, I have for a long time."

Did you guys get HD or HDX? I got HDX. Here are the differences. HDX - 1080p HD - 720p SD - 480p The only reason I could see not to watch it in 1080p is if your HDTV is only 720P, but you should still get HDX because you are allowed to watch it in any of the three modes if you own it in HDX. Here are some Vudu HDX screenshots from The Lord is My Shepherd.

I hope so, but I went ahead and bought the digital copies because of my impatience and the super low price. If they release the rest of the remastered seasons on Blu-ray/DVD, I will still buy them on Blu-ray even though I own the digital copies of all the seasons.

| Please tell me if I am right about this but Season 4 of Little House on the Prairie : I'll Be Waving as You Drive Away part 1 had a deleted scene of Charles telling Caroline that Mary is going blind released in other countries but not the USA .It was an emotional and really good scene . | |

| There are actually two back to back scenes that were deleted from "Angry Heart" DVD's and TV Syndication. These two scenes happen directly after Tod is shown sitting on his bed with his head in his hands after pushing his Grandfather to the floor. Then there is a commercial on TV and the next scene is the picnic at the Ingalls where Tod steals the watch. The uncut story goes to the mercantile where Charles is picking up his Father's watch that Nels has had worked on. Tod's grandparents walk in and tells Nels they are looking for a razor and shaving mug for Tod. Then Charles invites them to the picnic. The next scene is at the Grandparents house where Tod comes down after shaving and thanks them for the razor and mug. They invite Tod to church and the picnic to be held afterwards. He angrily says that he "doesn't do church" and he doesn't want to be treated like a child. Finally, he turns at the door and asks if he can just go to the picnic. The picnic scene follows. "Albert, do you REALLY think you are old enough to know what love is?" "I must be Pa. I love you, I have for a long time."
