Prayers for Tragedies

Please pray for this sweet family.....Jake and Josh met the kids at Bible Camp while in junior high and high school, and Jake even traveled from Greenwood to Searcy (3.5 hrs) to take Tillie to her prom...they were crazy about each other, but when he was single, she had a boyfriend, and when she was single, he had a girlfriend...they just never were able to hook up....I feel if they had, they would be married. Jake loves this family and respects them so very much, and they really need lifted up in prayer for all they have been through. The story is below. Warning: I needed tissues.....

Oh Rhonda.  Yes, Kleenex needed indeed, especially if you watch the video.   My heart breaks for this family.  My mind went to the fact that their son was the same age as my Brendan.  What a blessing that this pastor had this time with him right before their deaths...I hope that's a comfort to their parents.  But wow, I can't imagine the shock he felt, hearing the news after just having been with them for two hours.   May they rest in peace....their families will be in my prayers. I hope they can re-build and move forward. It will take time.  

What an awful thing to happen. We just found out that someone we have done business with since before we were married lost his oldest son in a car accident at the beginning of April. Truly a parent's worst nightmare. I will be keeping this family up in prayer, Rhonda.

such a sad thing to happen      I agree with Amy... I hope it was a comfort to their parents that they were with their Pastor right before the accident. I will keep the family in my thoughts
