| I thought it was okay, but she's always smiling and I think he could have captured that better. When you look at all her pictures, she always has such a beautiful smile. Take a smile from one of those and paint it. The "bags" under the eyes really did it for me. I didn't like that at all. It wasn't extreme, but still very noticeable. After 3 months I think he could have captured her natural beauty a bit more. | |

| I agree Teresa, she smiles a LOT----why didn't he capture THAT part of her personality?? He almost makes it sound like he was giving in a little by giving her even this much of a smile...more of a 'smirk'. I don't get it. And one person called it an 'intelligent smile'? What the heck is an 'intelligent smile?!" Gee, I hope mine doesn't make me look stupid! And Rhonda, I haven't seen the video of the reveal! I'll have to check that out! Thanks! | |

| Oh! I didn't see this earlier, and I was going to post about this! (I'm glad you commented, Krissy!)
I really thought that the artist made Kate look "hard". She looks rather cold and imperial in the portrait. (And she doesn't look like she's smiling - she looks, unfortunately, like she's smirking condescendingly at her subjects.) And in real life, she looks so warm and kind in her photos. I really thought that he blew it when it came to capturing her personality. Personally I think she's much more beautiful than the portrait would imply.

See, that is exactly how I feel! That's a good adjective---she looks 'hard', and she doesn't come off that way (at least to me) at all. I actually think Kate has a lovely personality, a beauty from within as well as on the outside, and this didn't exude that at all. I honestly do feel badly for her. Like Krissy said, it's not like she can say anything about it.

| My hubby is sitting right here, so I showed him her portrait for the first time, without saying ANYthing of what I thought ahead of time. You should have seen the look on his face!! (Actually, he did make a face that looked exactly like that. ). And the first thing out of his mouth? "She looks like she's 50 years old!" (And lol, consdering he just turned 50, he can spot another 50 year. ). Poor Kate. | |

| Does make her look older in the portrait. Is this a painting of portrait or a picture taken? Shouldn't be the color of her real eyes, not her blue blouse.
Probably, can't say anything, cause the media will say something like. Kate didn't like her painting. She attack the artists. Some crazy headline, to make everyone go ballistic.
Behind closed doors of William & Kate's castle. (Made by me)
Kate: That portrait. I look like, I'm 50. It's hideous painting. Put it in the dungeon. I can't stand looking at it. Next time, we will get different artist, to paint me.
William: I agreed with you. He's horrible artists. Yes, my love. *Takes the painting into the dungeon.*

| It's bizarre that the royals once felt free to lop off the hands (and heads) of their subjects, and now they won't (can't?) even show the slightest public disapproval over a painting. Not that I'd want a return to the bad old days.

| Forgot about they did that long time ago. If, I someone did portrait of me. I didn't like it. I'll tell them. I'll tell the truth. I don't care, I'm hurting the artist. I have to look at the painting the rest of my life. | |

That IS a bit ironic, isn't it?! Melissa, the weird thing is, I don't think this was painted from any 'one' photo of her. I think he just 'came up' with this on his own, from many other photos. Correct me if I'm wrong, if anyone knows. And Melissa, I couldn't agree more---her eyes should have been her OWN eye color, not 'enhanced' to match her blouse?!

| The Duchess of Cambridge is in Labour!!! After getting married in april 2011 The 31 year old Duchess of Cambridge announced that she was pregnant on the 3rd of December 2012. after being admitted to hospital for very bad morning sickness which affects 3 in every 100 women. the news suspected her to be pregnant after not drinking wine on a trip and being seen eating ginger. Now the duchess has been taken into hospital and is in early stages of labour. “It was a huge shock when it came and very excited“ This was the duchess of cambridges take on how she felt when William proposed during their official engagement interview with ITN reporter Tom Bradby. There was a real giggle at the end. Cute. | |
