I have to agree with Rob. I have never seen anyone's work as good as yours. In books, galleries, contests or exhibitions.

I'm not just saying that, it is the truth.

It has to be a natural talent.

Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.

I was going to ask if you ever did any artwork that you sold for profit. I thought maybe you just did it for friends and family.

But yeah, I agree with Amy. You could live on the income from your artwork!

Me again. I finished up work on Claire tonight....She's Avery's little sister, and was born over two months early. Her lungs hadn't fully developed, and the doctors told her family that she most likely wouldn't survive, so not to get their hopes up....And they said that if she did survive, she'd never walk and would have severe brain damage. Instead of just hoping, though, her family prayed - and enlisted the prayers of everyone they could think of.....and this is Claire - a vibrant, outgoing little girl on her second birthday:

I don't have a new drawing to show you....But I have some news that's pretty exciting to me, so I hope you don't mind if I share it with you! :shy:

On Wednesday, my brother and his wife came over and picked up four of the drawings that I have here at home. They took Abe Lincoln done in ink, Oliveah done in graphite, a hawk done in pastels and Caleby in oil pastels....and they took them a couple of towns over to a little art fair. Today we all went over to see if any of the pictures made it into placing, and all of them did! :faint2: :yayjump: Three of the pictures took first place, and the hawk took second! Of course, it's a small art fair - but I'm still very excited!
