I can imagine! I was actually thinking that when I was 'studying' the drawing (LOL, I want to say 'photo'!), that it would be really tough to get something like that 'right'. I also think Lucy's hair is amazing...well, Desi's too. I could just go on and on---when you've got it, you've got it!

Well.......after lots of PMs back and forth, and a bunch of tinkering, my first BIG project of the year is finished! It's a portrait of Misti's Mom and Dad on their wedding day, and on their 50th anniversary. (I LOVE the idea behind this, and I think I'm going to do that for my parents on their 50th!)

Savannah, that is amazing. I love seeing pictures of people like this, from years ago and in the present. Its fun to see if they still look like they did at a younger age. I can see the resemblenses, especially of Misti's dad, in your drawing. I would imagine that might be a difficult part of the drawing but you have mastered it! They look wonderful.

It was a fantastic experience, though, in learning how to fill in details that can't be seen in the photo!

My son, Damis, was looking at your drawings and he said, "How does she do that?"
