I'm back....I had posted the wrong picture. (I needed to crop it from the original.)

I do love the look of color like in the Baby at the Beach pic....but this one really needed to be in graphite. It's going to be a birthday present for my Pastor's 50th birthday. It's a portrait of his dad, who died several years ago.

Somehow I missed your last portrait---the colored one of the beach baby! Wow, my Nick looked just like that on the beach---he had the hat, even the blue swim trunks, and he was a thumb sucker too. Wink

Thanks, Amy!! I think part of the reason that I liked the photo so much was that it reminded me of all three of "my" boys when they were that age, too.

Some of you have already seen this first one, so it's a re-run.....This one is Oliveah done in a sepia-tone colored pencil....Then I decided to add the flowers in....then her right shoulder....so it ended up being a blend of sepia and more vibrant colors. A few drawings... - Page 12 688644

Then, this next one is the same picture done with more colors, and on a different grade of paper. (It's a card for a friend of mine who's vacationing in Florida for the winter.)

And if I'm boring you all witless with posting these, please let me know. It's all fascinating to me, but everything fascinates me....

Both are nice! I really like the sepia tone mixed with the hint of color though. Thumbsup

Savannah, these are really good. You can tell they are brothers, yet they all have there own personality. Good job!
