| One of my favories- my MySpace and Facebook page names are "Passthed***ham" after that book. (I use the full D-word as my page, but I did not want to offend...)

That's funny, Savannah, because I thought the movie Harvey was liberal Ignore me, I get goofy sometimes, just the blonde coming out...this too shall pass! I L-O-V-E To Kill a Mockingbird! I saw the movie first and then read...well...listened to the book. Sometimes I have the attention span of a demented squirrel Anyways, it's one of the few movies that my Grandmother and I have a common interest in; she grew up during the Depression. | There's a town near me called Traverse City, and every summer they have a film festival during the last week of July. It was started by filmmaker Michael Moore, who lives there. This year they're celebrating the 50th anniversary of the release of To Kill a Mockingbird, and their special guest is going to be none other than Mary Badham, who played Scout! How cool is that?? Mary in Mockingbird... And in 2005... | |

| I probably won't, but it would be neat to see her. I don't think I've ever seen the adult Mary Badham anywhere, not on TV, in newspaper articles, or anywhere else. | |

| I think it would be neat, too. And I don't think I've seen her anywhere but in TKaM. I wonder if I might have without realizing it....I think I'll check IMDB. | |

| I love TKAM, both the book and the movie! I just read it this year. The funny thing was, when my Dad and I went to rent the movie, we had to go to two or three movie places to find it. And then the guy at Blockbuster looked at us like we were crazy for wanting such an old movie. | |

| Tonight on PBS there's a documentary about Harper Lee, the author of To Kill a Mockingbird. Check your local listings, as the saying goes. | |

| Interesting story out today. Harper Lee, the reclusive author who wrote To Kill a Mockingbird, is publishing a second novel this July! It was actually finished in the 1950s, before TKaM. Here's the story. Harper Lee | |
