As the Big Day is only a week away - - there's a lot of Christmas music being played on television and radio here in Uk and I was just curious to find out what everyone's favourites are.
My all-time favourite carol is O Holy Night. Here are The Priests singing it beautifully. My Parish priest is the one on the right! Spine tingling stuff.
Here is a link from last year about favorite carols.....Thought I would put it here, and we can read what everyone said......Some really have opinions on some songs....
Faith is awesome. There is SO much truth to the words of that song. Mary must have been so scared. I've always thought how much Joseph must of loved her to stay with her. He knew that God had told him not to leave her, but he certainly could have. Joseph was chosen too. God knew Jesus would need a strong, loving earthly father. A baby did change everything....in every way.
It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart

One of my favorite Christmas songs is "Mr Heat Meiser" from The Year Without A Santa Claus. I also like Wonderful Christmastime by Paul McCartney, Believe by Josh Groban, and of course a bunch of other Holiday songs
I love the Carpenters Christmas songs. Richard arranged the music so perfectly to compliment the otherworldly voice of Karen, who sang from the heart. Also Dan Fogelberg's. Same old Lang Syne. And my favorite song would be Frosty the Snowman. / I wonder how many people that are together for the holiday, realize just how lucky they are... Highway to Heaven (Michael Landon) many blessings, highwayangel
Those are special holiday memories Savannah, they stay in our hearts forever. And Your aunt recognized great holiday music! I read where Richard Carpenter said if Karen did not pass away so soon that they would of recorded another Christmas album. They both loved making Christmas music. Thanks for the mention of your aunt and her fondness for the carpenters music. Cheers, highwayangel
