| Does it happen to be one by Gloria Estafan? I can't stand "Christmas through your eyes".... “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Okay okay....Yes, it is a traditional, older song that was murdered by a modern singer. | |

| Are we going to get the answer before 2009? Ok, is it a boy band member...say, Justin Timberlake? Lance Bass maybe? “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

Lance Bass I like the older version, Maureen, just not this one particular version. I thought that only one singer did this version, but I actually heard another singer do it the same way today. It wasn't quite as hideous, terrible, annoying or grating as the one I loathe, but it was still pretty bad. *skin crawls just thinking about it*

| My husband and I love Mary Did You Know.
Mary Did You Know
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?
Did you know, that your baby boy has come to make you new? This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you.
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand?
Did you know, that your baby boy has walked where angels trod? When you kiss your little baby, you've kissed the face of God.
The blind will see The deaf will hear The dead will live again. The lame will leap The dumb will speak The praises of The Lamb.
Mary, did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations?
Did you know, that your baby boy is heaven's perfect lamb? This sleeping child you're holding, is the great I AM. |

| I absolutely LOVE that song, Maggie. The year that Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene wrote that song, I heard Mark sing it in concert. It was one of the first times he had ever performed it publicly, and it was the first time that I had ever hear Mark sing seriously as a soloist. I was totally amazed by the power in his voice. I mean, I knew he could sing....but I didn't know that he could sing like THAT. | |

:Hahaha: It isn't any of those. Although, I have to admit, I'll be Home for Christmas isn't one of my favorites anymore. Let's see........What kind of a hint can I give? . . . . . It was originally written about 74 years ago. The original I like.....But the terrible, grating, wretched, earsplitting version was recorded a little over 30 years ago, I think.

| I love all kinds of Christmas songs, carols and hymns. I have always loved "O Holy Night". It is such a beautiful song and we sang it when I was in chior. And I seem to have a soft spot in my heart for Elvis' "Why Can't Everyday Be Like Christmas?" Not sure why, but that one makes me cry........And from recent years, "Christmas Shoes" has become a favorite. I guess when one goes through cancer and has lived the experience this boys sings about, it just weighs in your heart as a favorite. When I was in high school, our chior would get on huge flat bed trucks* and go down the road singing carols, sometimes stopping at people's homes that we knew couldn't get out and listen to us. At the end of the evening, we would stop at this one home, go in, and be treated to hot cocoa, hot apple cider and all kinds of Christmas cookies. So many wonderful memories......... *We later found out these trucks were from a casket making company, and they hauled the finished caskets to the funeral homes. CANCER FREE!!! April 9, 1998-April 9, 2025-I AM A SURVIVOR!!!
