A Return to Winter

They're saying our area might get 3-6 inches of snow tonight.

Wow! That's crazy! Keep us updated. Here in Minnesota, we didn't get ANY snow in March. That hasn't happened in 150 years. Hopefully we won't get any this month.

Is this not the time to say we hit 87 today?

We got rain last night and it cooled down here as well. It will struggle to hit 70 today, but at least its not still raining.

Pfft! Nothing. Drizzling a little. It's only 32, though, so we may see some snow before the day is over.

It's 34 here right now, but it's supposed to warm up into the 50's.

I'm sorry to hear you all are still getting crazy weather. I heard about Colorado getting snow and I couldn't believe it! The 'worst' it is getting here is in the 40's at night but the days are beautiful! We got the yard back in shape, garden planted, honeysuckle bush & my long awaited mimosa tree in the ground!

The kids are on spring break here, and it's rained the past three days. I am just now starting to see the sun peek out, but it doesn't seem to be lasting. Good thing I'm stocked up on crafts.


Rob, it just doesn't seem like meteorologists can predict weather like they used to, do you notice that?!

Well, it turns out there were parts of the U.P. that got six inches or more, but it just didn't quite come this far down.

We have been between 59 and 74 degrees here....

They are also predicting a bad hurricane season.

While we're on the subject, do you know where snow got its name? I've stayed up many a'nights to ponder that very query.

I don't know the answer. Best I can figure is they named it after "snowcones."

It's an acronym. It stands for: Somebody's Not Overly Warm.

But I doubt that Robbie is seeing any snow today.

Funny you should mention snow. Yesterday it was 80 degrees here. Right now it's 46, and they're saying there's a chance of flurries tonight.

All we are having here is sunshine then a mix of clouds with rain coming. No snow ...thank goodness.
