Survivor Redemption Island!

I would love to know what Rob's sob story was about? 'Making a better life for his family'? Getting weepy about that? Um, Rob, your wife already won a million!! That really threw me off---anyone else?

The finale is just around the corner!

Can you believe it?! It always amazes me when the end comes around! Always seems too soon!

Should be interesting to see how they cram all of this into 2 hours---they still have people on Redemption Island!


Grant seems like such a good guy....he didn't seem to have any animosity about Rob or 'whoever else' might have wronged him. He seems to 'get' that this is a game, which a lot of people seem to conveniently forget sometimes.


I think Matt is going to come back and make a power move against Rob. I think he will have learned during ALL his time on Redemption and will be empowered to do a big move like that. Love Rob, but I wouldn't mind seeing that. And Rob's 'boo hoo, woe is me tears' really turned me off last week. Still love the guy though---he is SO funny! And he is QUITE the player, who would deserve to win just based on the ignorance of the other players. But, there's this part of me that is really rooting for Matt!

Wouldn't it be wild for all the time Matt has been on Redemption Island if he came back & walked away as sole Survivor? That would be sweet justice for him!

I wish they would go back to the days of 2 in the finale. I hate this "three people" stuff!

Super pumped!!! This is going to be interesting with 8 people left on both islands. I have no idea who is going to win. But game play wise I think it should be Rob. I hope Philip at least makes it to the final 3 so I can still get some money, lol.

And we can all still get some laughs.................

I was sad to see Matt,Grant, and Mike go on RI though.

After all that being said. I would not be surprised if Natalie wins. I have been saying that since last week. Either way I like all the final 3.

UPDATE:

I at least won second! I am happy with that. I knew the person that won was gonna win (or Natalie as I said above). This person definitely played the best game. This was by far was one of my favorite seasons!

I agree Beckie, that was a GREAT season! Loved the Redemption Island twist and was very happy with the winner. The only thing with this finale was, there wasn't that big question of who was going to win once we got to the final three. It was kind of a no brainer so it wasn't as much fun. But he totally deserved it, IMO. Love that Dave (the lawyer guy---I think that was his name?) turned to the jury to advocate for Rob. He did a great job and was completely correct in his assessment that they all allowed themselves to be played and controlled by Rob. Unreal that Ralph was the only one not to give him his vote, and went for Phil (or "Phile" )... REALLY????

Wouldn't you know? The only part of the show I watched was when Jeff read the votes, and I tuned in just in time to see "Phile."

You were definitely the first person I thought of when I saw "Phile"! Actually, Ralph pronounces it like Pheel, so I'm surprised he didn't spell it that way!


Oh, and Beckie, I forgot to mention that I was really sorry to see the three guys get beat out by Andrea on Redemption too. I was rooting for Matt, and thought that would have been an awesome finale. But I wouldn't have minded seeing Mike get it either. Or even Grant! There were some really nice, good guys on this season. And I was sorry to see that Grant was holding Rob accountable for sending him off. I mean, it IS all part of the game, and it's not like Rob did anything downright despicable, like so many other people have done in past seasons.

Poor Matt even lost out on the $100,000 fan favorite award. But I have to admit Rob sure played everybody like a fiddle. He had them eating right out of his hand. I wonder if any other player could have done that? I mean maybe people were a little "star struck" and thought it was cool to be aligned with him and believe and do everything Rob told them. I don't think a first time player would have had that kind of authority.

Either way I was glad to see Rob win, now he can say he actually is the bread winner since he won $100,000 more then Amber. Cute couple and cute family...

Woo hoo! Boston Rob has always been my favorite survivor of all-time!! Glad to see him win! I, too, was surprised to see that Grant was holding such a grudge. Very strange................

I was actually hoping Mike would have made it back onto the regular island. Something about him and Grant that was very nice. Ew what does that girl see in Dave.? She is to pretty for him, lol. She does seem like a little witch though. I was surprised that Ralph voted for Phillip. But I am really glad because I won second place prize of $25.00!


Wonder who will be back on the new season? Some think it might be Matt and Andrea. I hope Andrea is not back on. I don't know if Matt would want to go through that again. Especially if he keeps getting sent back to RI.

I wasn't happy with the final 3 but... like that lawyer said... Rob deserved it because he REALLY played a good game with the brainless group that was on survivor this season lol

So... I don't know Rob like you guys because this was the first time I heard of him and didn't like how he was, but he did deserve to win the game.

As far as Grant being upset with him... I understand him. Specially after seeing the episodes. He would see what a fool he was and how Rob would call each and everyone names like "idiots" and other things. Yes, that WAS a game, but when they do the one on one interviews, you don't need to be calling people names.

I totally agree! He had been playing Grant for a fool since the middle of the game.

Matt totally should have won fan fave. Not Boston Rob. I am surprised he won for that.

I think Grant would have a hard time having a friendship with someone who had a lot of fun making him look stupid on national TV, specially when it came to the clues of the idol. I mean, while at the island Grant VOTED for Rob to WIN as we all later saw when the votes were read. But once he saw the episodes on TV, Grant was really hurt because he probably saw a scene where Rob was making him look like a fool. The friendship meant a lot more to Grant and he saw Rob just laughing his head off. Grant is probably mad at himself for believing in Rob.

I hope that next season they don't have veterans playing with newbies like they did this season. In this season there were too many Rob zombies, so many followers, predictable, horrible winner. His wife had already won money, what's with Robs tears rolling down as he said he wanted to provide for his family?? Hello!!

I saw Rob mentioned how he would call and text Grant but that Grant stopped communicating with him. It shows me that after the show was over, Rob was still all smiles with Grant and never came clean on how he treated Grant until he himself saw it on TV. Rob said that he had not been there to make friends, so he shouldn't care how Grant feels. If he does, then he should change his technique or way of treating people.

Here is a video of my favorite part of Survivor, "Fallen Comrades", where they pay tribute to the ones that were voted off. It always give me the chills and the music is always beautiful. I was disappointed that they cut it out. It's one of the most important parts of the show.
