| Yea, I loved this episode too.
I love how Harriet, at the beginning of the episode, tries to guilt Nels into taking his children and when he realizes she means for him to go alone, he pretends he agrees with her just so he can get away without her lol
Charles reaction when he realizes Harriet is going along on the campout is hilarious too. :)

| I remember the first time I watched this episode I was so mad that the Olesons invited themselves to the Ingall's camping trip. Pretty soon I was laughing pretty hard at Harriet!
I never did understand why Miss Beadle didn't recognize the poison ivy. :b

| I absolutely loved this one! Like someone else said earlier I loved Charles face when he realizes Mrs. Oleson is going on the camp out. Caroline was very nice to set up the tent for Harriet then make it seem like Mrs. Oleson did it all herself. | |

| I like this one a lot too. It was fun watching Harriet and Nellie trying to rough it -- "Don't forget your parasol!" :haha: Nellie Oleson at her worst -- trying to blame Laura for pushing her in after Laura rescued her.
One question I had about this episode -- when Charles finds out that Harriet is coming along, he and Caroline go into the barn and Charles says he flat out refuses to go camping with "that woman". The next thing we see, the Olesons are hiking up the path following the Ingalls. I saw this on Hallmark, and knowing how Hallmark cuts episodes, I suspect they cut out something. My question is, what changed Charles's mind?

| I saw the episode on DVD and John, that is the same thing I see as well... Charles says he refuses to go... and the next shot is of them in the mountains... LOL I think it was meant to be a funny scene... it made me laugh seeing Charles' face and the next shot was of them walking together. | |

| Haha Harriet was hilarious in this episode but it was really sweet of her trying to do the best she could with the cooking and putting up the tent. We finally got to see the "human" side of her, right until the end. Then she became herself again | |

| Charles was quite funny in this episode. I particularly loved the conversation he and Caroline were having in the barn when he was refusing to go on the trip because of Mrs Oleson. Caroline: You'll miss your fishing. Charles: With that woman on the trip there won't be a fish biting for 9 miles in any direction. I also loved the part where Nels jumps over the river and Harriet follows but falls backwards and smashes the China tea set! Her face was a picture when Nels asked if she'd broken anything. "Only the tea service, dear." :haha: Hilarious stuff. "To change your life takes a lot of courage and energy. It's not for wimps." Karen Grassle. April 2006 | |

| Why do I feel like scratching my face right now, im starting to itch just looking at this. It was a good episode, the funniest part to me was when Mrs Olsen showed up at the Ingalls with Willie and Nellie and said that she would carry the tea service. The look on Charles face when he found out she was comming to. |

| I also laughed when Nellie and Laura fell into the river and were insulting each other while floating and trying to get out...Nellie's screaming was particulary unbearable! :haha:

| My favorite picture of willie! This episdoe really shows the funny side to Michael Landon. It also shows the talent of Katherine M. and Richard Bull (He has the best facial reactions!). |
