| Okay, I am sick of snow, but seeing snow is still fun as long as I don't have to drive in it. Enjoy the white stuff. | |

| We're getting snow here in north Georgia too, very much a rarity in this part of the country. It looks so pretty coming down, and I'm so glad I don't have to drive in it!
Some neighbor kids are playing in the snow next door as I type, and I bet it is only the second or third time they've seen snow in their lives. They sound like they're having a blast... :woohooo:

| That's so awesome! I can imagine how exciting that would be for kids who rarely ever get to see snow! | |

| We woke up to about four inches of snow. Kids are happy, they announced the would close schools for today last night at 8:00. Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow. | |

| Well, it was a disappointing event. The majority of the snow bypased us...giving up to three inches in parts of Birmingham and farther south. I live in NE Alabama and we only got about a a half an inch or so. I was really upset.
I'm glad for those of you who wanted and got snow.

Thank you, Pam. I know it may sound silly to many people, considering that they're tired of snow, but I really do enjoy it. Of course, it's only a few inches out of the year, so that's a huge difference. I've been feeling a bit "blah" lately and had hoped on getting the snow to cheer me up. I like thinking of how my Mom and I used to watch the snow falling. Oh, well.

Thank you, Amy. I hope we'll get some next year, too. Snow often cheers me up, so I really wanted some the other day. I would gladly accept a few inches from you if you really could send it. I'll try to imagine that you've sent some. LOL!

| I am looking forward to Spring myself! We had about 5 inches of snow Sunday and it is going to be between 6-12 degrees tomorrow. They are saying it may be 60 by the weekend. Crazy. Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow. | |

I've been feeling a bit "blah" lately and had hoped on getting the snow to cheer me up. I like thinking of how my Mom and I used to watch the snow falling. Oh, well. No, it doesn't sound silly at all. I can certainly understand how you would enjoy snow, especially if you don't get to see much of it. We have our own resident, Savannah, here who sees snow all the time and never gets tired of it. I'm sure it would have cheered you up, especially if it reminded you of a good memory of your mom. :alright:

You are not kidding about a roller coaster ride. We've had up and down temps here, but nothing that significant.

Yeah, you'd be better off trying to get a few inches off me, LM....don't ask Savannah---I doubt she'd be willing to share even a centimeter of hers! She wouldn't? LOL! Thanks for the tip!

No wonder Amy said she wouldn't share it with me. LOL! I'm glad you don't think I'm silly, Pam. Thanks for consoling me with the little smiley. I appreciate it. How are you holding up? | I'm holding up okay. I definitely still have my moments where the tears just come out of nowhere, and I'm sure that will always happen. Right now school is keeping me very busy, so I think that's a good distraction for me. Thanks for asking.

Ah, but it's February/March. Hmmm, I wonder if you asked Savannah for a couple of inches of snow back in December/January, LM? I wonder if she'd remember her kindergarten roots then? I'm wounded, Amy. Deeply, unfathomably wounded. *another dramatic sniff*
