| Docfan, I must say that "Harvest of Friends" is my favorite among the ones you just mentioned. Classic early episode. As for my overall favorites, I suppose I am partial to the later years of the series. | |

| There are so many of them that it's hard to narrow it down. My favorites are probably "Country Girls", "The Richest Man in Walnut Grove", and "A Harvest of Friends". Everybody likes those, though. Here are a few of my favorites that aren't often mentioned on favorite episodes lists: - Ma's Holdiay -- Mr. Edwards is a hoot in this one.
- The Talking Machine -- Nellie Oleson at her worst; Pa and Laura at their best.
- Haunted House -- Not sure why I like this one; I just do.
- The Music Box -- Well, maybe Nellie Oleson is worse in this one than she is in "The Talking Machine". It's close.
- All of the Bunny episodes (Christmas at Plum Creek, Bunny, The Race, and Journey in the Spring) -- One of my favorite scenes, although one of the saddest, is the scene in "Journey in the Spring" where you hear the shot that brings Bunny down. Laura is running away, stops when she hears the shot, and then continues running. She doesn't say a word, but you can tell what she's felling -- a mix of sadness and anger.
There are probably others that belong on this list. I often find when I go back and watch episodes again that there are scenes I really like for one reason or another. | |

| I don't know if this has already been done before, if it is would the adminstrator of the board please remove this.
When I first started watching Little House on the Prairie on DVD, I came up with this fun survey to do about the show but never completed it nor did I answer the questions myself. It's been awhile sice I've watched the earlier seasons but I've watched bits and pieces of them recently on the Hallmark Channel so please forgive me.
I hope everyone enjoys this and most of all - have fun!

| Here are my answers: 1- Favorite opening theme music: The original one. 2-Favorite opening scene: "Remember Me". 3- Favorite episode title: " As long as we are together". 4- Favorite Guests star:Johnny Cash; Ray Bolger; Anita Dangler. 5_ Favorite Laura & Nellie scene_ Too many. But the firt one, when they knew each other is great. I also like when they met again when older and they would speak about their pasts...and Nancy... . But, oh wait. There's a classic scene between both, Laura and Mary: the mudfight. This is the definitive one! 6- Favorite Laura and Albert Scheme: When they change the paper's typos in "Harriet Happenings". 7- Favorite Tear-Jerker episode: " I'll ve waving as you've drive away". 8- Favorite Love story episode: "He loves me; He loves me not"; "Doctor's Lady". 9- Episode you likes to look over and over: "Premier Movie"; "Country Girls"; "I'll be waving as you 've drive away", "As lons as we are together", "There's no place like Home"; "Sweet Sixteen"; "he loves me; he loves me not"; "Laura Ingalls Wilder"; "The Last Farewell". 10- Episode you have a hard time watching: "May we make them proud?" ; "Sylvia"; "A silent Cry"; "Gambini the great" (all of these are creepy. I don't like to see people burning alive to die, rapping scenes, and mistreated persons. too much out "Little House on the Prairie" style). 11- Favorite destination on the show: Walnut Grove (no doubt!) 12- The first time you saw or watched LHOTP: I think it was in 1976, when it aired here in Argentina for the first time. 13- Favorite Female character: Caroline. Laura and Mary are my favorite too, but more Caroline. 14- Favorite male character: Charles, of course!!! 15- Favorite couple: Charles and Caroline. 16- Favorite Nellie's quote: "Hm! Country girls!" (but all Nellie's quotes are great) 17- Favorite Laura's quote: "It's like I was using your colors" (in "Sweet sixteen", when Almanzo giver her that beatiful kerchief) 18- Funniest scene: When Charles enters the church with green hair. ( I can't help to laugh when watching this one!) 19- Saddest scene: When the blind school burns totally and you sees Alice shouting desperately holding baby Adam. 20- Nellie or Nancy: Nellie, but I also like Nancy. 21- Favorite Walnut Grove Place: The schoolhouse/church. 22- Favorite Two part episode: Almost all of them (ha!) But if I must choice only one here it is: "He loves me; he loves me not". 22- Favorite recurring character: Kezia. 23- Favorite Nels remarks to Harriet: I like them all. I can't quote them in English, since I see the show in Spanish. But all of them are just funny. 24- Your Little House crush: Michael Landon! (Even when I was a young girl! Would you believe it?) 25- Favorite Willie line: "I'm so glado of it!" (When he realized his father didn't cut her mother's head off, as Laura had told him. But the funny think is that Nels believed his son said it for he was glad of seeing his apron splashed with tomato sauce) 26- Most schoking episode: "Sylvia"; "May we make them proud?" 27- Episode you didn't see: "The Odyssey" 28- Favorite wedding episode: " Laura Ingalls Wilder". 29- Favorite Walnut Grove teacher: Eva Beadle, without doubt! 30- How long you've been a LHOTP fan? Since it ared for the first time in my country, in 1976. But I really udnerstood it much later, when I was 18 . 31- Why are you a fan of both, Laura Ingalls Wilder and LHOTP TV show?: I like the storilines of the books and the TV show. They are great to share with all the family. Unlike other books and shows, they have family and christian values that I can't find elsewhere. Vanesa. | |

How Long You've been a Little House Fan: for as long as I can remember. I received my own book set when I was five. I wanted to read the books so badly, but the set that my brothers had was torn and falling apart. I didn't like reading books in terrible condition so for my birthday my mother purchased the set. The set didn't come in time so my mother asked a lady in church if she could borrow her copy of the first book so that I'd have something on my birthday. Why are you a fan of both Laura Ingalls Wilder and Little House: It was born in me. :b
