Deployment

I would like to ask for prayers for Jake and Josh, my 2 Air Force National Guard sons. They are being deployed this Saturday to Guatemala to build a clinic. They will be erecting from ground up, digging footers, concrete, concrete walls, roof, electric, plumbing--and this is during the Monsoon season. I asked Josh how safe it is down there and he said, "Not safe at all." I am asking for prayers for their safety while they are down there, for them and the rest of the 188th that is headed there. They return the 26th of May. Thank you.

Josh just texted me...he doesn't leave until May 17th, says they won't deploy he and Jake together since they are brothers.....

My prayers are with them.

Josh says they don't come right out and say that, but he thinks it is the reason.....If you have ever watched, "Saving Private Ryan", you will know they made a rule about sending brothers out at the same time......

Hope you get to see them both before they leave. Prayers a-plenty...

Jake leaves tomorrow......won't be seeing him....and unless Josh can make the annual Mother's Day trip....I don't know.....

I'll pray for them , Rhonda...I didn't know that Guatemala was a so bad place to stay...

I have seen it, but don't remember that part of it, I guess. Sorry you're having to deal with this Rhonda...I can imagine how worrisome it must be for you!

Awww, thank you everyone.....Jake will be back on the 12th....then Josh leaves out....today is Josh's birthday.....my baby is 22!
