Ahh, I love Hudsonville. Rob, have you had the strawberry cheesecake? Oh MY Ohhhhhhh, Hudsonville ice cream! Whenever we go visit my Aunt Kathy, we drive right by a Hudsonville ice cream factory. I wonder if they give tours. That might be fun! And *swoon*, Amy! Strawberry cheesecake....peanut butter chip....*double swoon* They really have wonderful ice cream. Even their "plain ole" vanilla is wonderful! Bear Claw is another one that's really good, and Moose Tracks. . . and their black cherry....Oh my, my, my.... - Rob wrote:
- That cheeseburger looks a little like the Wendy's double. I never used to like Wendy's 'cause they didn't have much flavor to me. I'd have to salt them a lot to even taste them. Then last summer I had a double for the first time in years. It was goooo-ood! One of the best burgers I've ever shoved up my face.
Interesting! The Wendy's here has always had really great burgers! I wonder if they vary a lot from location to location. - Mimi wrote:
- Wendy's is Lisa's & my hot spot when we meet up....you'll have to join us sometime, Rob. I love Wendy's burgers but Five Guys is on a whole other level....indescribable! It's also a LOT more money!
Okay, now I'm really curious about Five Guys. I'd never even heard of it. Sounds fabulous! Rob, are there Five Guys in your area? (I know that's a loaded question. "Of course! We aren't THAT small of a town! We might even have TEN guys around here!"...But that isn't what I mean. )

When we were looking to move into the Grand Rapids area, that was one of the areas we were checking out. Dangerous!! - Lisa wrote:

You just had to say that, didn't you?! I don't care if it's bad for my waistline, lol, I see another field trip in our future, Lisa! I was checking out Five Guys locations out of curiousty, and the farthest West they are is Portage, near Kalamazoo. Most of their locations are in the center of Michigan or outlying Detroit areas. Judging from the locations, they gravitate toward college towns. Wow, there are tons of them in California and Alabama. Krissy, what are those? They look yummy but I can't quite tell what they are?

| I've really been craving a Hardee's Little Thick Burger lately. I like it completely plain except for some ketchup on it. I don't want all of that other stuff. It is so insanely terrific. I've also really wanted some Long John Silver's. I could go for some of their chicken. But I think this painful craving that I have right now is because I discovered that our locations are suddenly closed. It just kills me! I know I have also really wanted some Bob Evans and Waffle House food lately. But that will have to wait until I go out-of-state again (I will be able to get my Long John Silver's then, too). Who's going to do the cooking?!?! | |
