Wrong house!

This is on Reddit...

"It was the first time my friend was coming to my house, so as a joke I told him the wrong address. I told him to walk straight in as I'm upstairs on xbox."

I get it's a prank, but it's not funny.

Are you sure?  That guy was laughing pretty hard.

Agreed, Joe. That is not a nice prank to play on someone... that guy could have been killed walking into someone's house like that.

I'm guessing the guy who played the joke knew the people across the street, and figured it would be safe.

I hope so, but even then, I don't see the humor in it. I certainly wouldn't want that done to me.

I don't have a gun....YET.....but if I did......YEP!!! I do have a BIG dog...guess that guy would've been LUNCH!!!

It sounds like a dangerous prank. The only way it would be funny is if he had it prearranged with the neighbors.

I can see it being dangerous in some neighborhoods but in my neighborhood the stranger walking in would probably leave as a friend.

Besides, this is in England, so the stranger probably wouldn't have gotten shot, only stabbed or bludgeoned. 

One of the comments on the video was, "If this had been in Canada, they would have invited him in, fed him, and sent him on his way to Tim Horton's."

I can't see this being funny. Somebody could have gotten hurt.

I am just seeing this post now... I hope this prank was prearranged so the guy going into the house didn't get hurt or get into trouble! It still is kind of funny though


Something like this happened to my grandparents once, they were going to a party but forgot the address. A house near where they were supposed to go was having a party too, so my grandparents wound up going to the wrong party and didn't even realize it until later on

One time my great aunt saw a yard sale and stopped to look around. She looked at the lawn furniture, the mower, the lawn ornaments. . . then she started to look at the clothes hanging up. The clothes were all on hangers on the woman's clothes line. My great aunt took one of the blouses down and looked it over, then asked the woman running the sale, "How much is this blouse? I don't see any prices for your sale." The woman replied, "This isn't a yard sale. It's my laundry."

Wait until the jokes on him. I thought it was funny. But, if someone came on our front porch. Leia be barking her head off.
