Do you think this is wrong?

This is so sad.

I think it is wrong.. Obviously something or someone has done something to that poor cat to make it behave in that manner.

Any type of cruelty to animals I have no tolerance for.

I tried to delete this, but I can't.

I can't see the video either.

I work at a wildcat sanctuary and you wouldnt believe some of the things I see. It's truly sad what kind of things humans will inflict upon animals.

Very true... I can't stand watching or hearing about animal abuse... I get upset and helpless....

This vid's been around for a while. The cat's not being harmed, he's just scared (I have one the same way about going to the vet)

As for the ears, they're just laid back 'cuz he's mad.

It's just natural reactions for some cats, particularly ones who haven't been indoors their whole life, or haven't been "fixed", or are wild and aren't used to human contact.

I'm the same way. I've been in one fight in my whole life, and that was because I saw someone being cruel to an animal.

Here is a story that came out on the news and I just read it on Yahoo. It makes me sick!


Tiny kitten saved from cruel death on railroad

The calico kitten was ridden with fleas and so scrawny you could see its backbone.
Yet the animal was in far better shape Thursday morning than it had been several hours earlier, when two off-duty security guards on a secluded South Side road saw a man and a woman tying the creature to some railroad tracks with a shoelace, a police report said.




Tracks is the name given to the kitten rescued after someone tied the animal to railroad tracks on the South Side.

The couple got away, but the kitten, christened Tracks, got a temporary home with one of its rescuers.
"We're trying to make it fat," said John Hernandez, 22, feeding the skeletal weeks-old feline a second can of beef and gravy.
Police are investigating the case as one of deadly conduct because Hernandez and the other guard, Jacob Salinas, said the man pointed a gun at them.

The city also could assign an animal cruelty officer to the case if the San Antonio Police Department requests that measure, said Lisa Norwood, spokeswoman for Animal Care Services.
The rescuers gave police a license plate number, but no one had been arrested Thursday.
The strange case comes on the heels of tougher animal-cruelty laws passed this year by Texas lawmakers.
House Bill 2328 would allow pet owners to be punished for cruelly and seriously injuring their animals and extends protection to stray dogs and cats, defining cruelty as something that "causes or permits unjustified or unwarranted pain or suffering."
Cruising near the intersection of Shane and Villamain about 3 a.m., Hernandez and Salinas noticed a young man and a young woman standing over the Union Pacific railroad tracks, a police report said. The friends felt something was wrong and doubled back. The couple still were there, and they noticed a kitten in the woman's hand.
"They knew we were watching them," Hernandez said.
So Hernandez switched off the headlights on his pickup and parked nearby. That's when he and Salinas saw the man pull out the shoelace.
"It was disgusting, really, seeing someone tie a kitten to the tracks," Salinas said, "just for the joy of seeing it get run over."
The couple got into a green Saturn and pulled away. Hernandez drove closer and killed his engine. Silence. Then the high-pitched cry of the kitten. It was upside-down, its back legs bound to the tracks with a shoelace, he said.
Hernandez and Salinas untied the creature, got back in the pickup and called police. They caught up to the Saturn and recorded the license plate number but backed off when the man stopped the car, retrieved a gun from the trunk and pointed it at them, Hernandez and Salinas said.
Hernandez said he's not sure if he'll adopt Tracks for good. He's mulling giving the kitten to his sister or his girlfriend. But he has some advice for whoever would tie a kitten to railroad tracks.
"Go to a mental institution," Hernandez said, "and see what's wrong with your brain."

Oh man...

Times like these is when I wish had the power of the 'Ghost Rider' where I could grab that couple and made them feel all the pain and suffering they have caused to innocent people or animals.

One thing that really upset me was a video my friend showed me of a toddler playing with a cobra!!!! It was in India. The vid ended with the snake wraping itself around the baby. I don't want to know what happened afterwards. Those parents should be hanged or bitten by a snake and see how they like it.

According to the story, the people that rescued the kitten got the license number of the car, but last I heard, no arrests had been made.

I had seen that story, too. Apparently, they said that the cobras mouth was sewed shut and this supposedly gets babies from that area used to dealing with the snakes. I'm just guessing its because they do the snake charming.

Feds detail dogfighting on Vick property



SURRY, Va. - Federal authorities filed court documents outlining an alleged dogfighting operation at a property owned by Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick as agents searched the property Friday. Vick is not named in the documents.

The documents filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Richmond and obtained Friday by The Associated Press contain the address of the home that has been the center of the investigation.

According to the documents, dog fights have been sponsored by "Bad Newz Kennels" at the property since at least 2002. For the events, participants and dogs traveled from South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland, New York, Texas and other states.

Members of the venture also knowingly transported, delivered and received dogs for animal fighting, the documents state.
Fifty-four animals were recovered from the property during searches in April, along with a "rape stand," used to hold dogs in place for mating; an electric treadmill modified for dogs; and a bloodied piece of carpeting, the documents said.

The property was used as the "main staging area for housing and training the pit bulls involved in the dog fighting venture," according to the filings.
The documents said the fights usually occurred late at night or in the early morning and would last several hours. The winning dog would win from "100's up to 1,000's of dollars," and participants and spectators also would place bets on the fight.

Fights would end when one dog died or the surrender of the losing dog, which was sometimes put to death by drowning, strangulation, hanging, gun shot, electrocution or some other method, according to the documents.

During a June search of the property, investigators uncovered the graves of seven pit bulls that were killed by members of "Bad Newz Kennels" following sessions to test whether dogs would be good fighters, the documents said.

Members of "Bad Newz Kennels" also sponsored and exhibited fights in other parts of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, New Jersey and other states, the filings said.

I HATE it that people do that!!!

There were two other stories on the news not related to animals but bizarre.

Two girls were arrested for kidnapping the neighbor's five year old son. They snuck in and snatched him and left a ransom note for $200,000, I believe. The girls' mother found the boy and brought it all to light.

The girls were ten and eleven or eleven and twelve years old, I believe. They have given no reason for doing what they did.

Another story; a vehicle led police on a high speed change with speeds reaching 100 miles an hour. After the chance ended and they got to the vehicle they discovered an 11-year-old girl behind the wheel and she was charged with DUI. Unbelievable!
