A few drawings...

I was obsessed with dinosaurs as a kid. I guess that's the boy version of horses. I was also crazy about trains. One year I kept begging for a train for Christmas, and was heartbroken when my parents bought me a model train set. I wanted a real one.

Well, I had a Daisy rifle. You could put an eye out with that thing. It was great!

I actually wasn't that crazy about it either.

I thought it was pretty cool Amy. But then, I like Cheech and Chong movies, so one might question my tastes. lol

My sister loves A Christmas Story so much that two years ago I found her a leg lamp for Christmas. She had it displayed in her living room for awhile, now its in the extra bedroom she has decorated in a "Movie" theme.


I personally didn't like it that much. Guess I'm just too sappy for that kind of odd comedy.

My hubby hates this movie actually---he can never understand why I'm so excited to watch it every year! I have a quirky sense of humor though, on the dry side. I love The Office too, so that might explain it.

(I will say though Gin, as big a fan I am, I could do without the leg lamp ).

This is the first time I've ever "met" anyone else who didn't like it - outside of my family. I know it's hugely popular....but it just never clicked with me.

For some reason or other, my threads have a very strong tendency to go WAY off topic. I don't care.....That kind of meandering fits my personality pretty well. Rob could testify to that if he wanted to.
