A few drawings...

Jane Seymour did a great Marie-Antoinette in the TV two parts movie "The French Revolution". Did you watch it? She was really stunning in it...The only bad thing is that the actresses hairdoss were totally outdated!

I never saw that one. I bet she made a wonderful Marie Antoinette!

She did! If you can watch this two part TV movie, you will not be wasting your time. The first part is named "The French Revolution-Years of Hope", and the second one "The French revolution; Years of rage".

Okay....trying this again. I posted the "almost finished" picture a moment ago.

My sweet little niece, Oliveah, is one of my favorite subjects to draw. I decided to try drawing a portrait of her in color on suede matboard. I can't wait to see what she thinks of it.

Oh, Savannah, it is beautiful. She is going to love it! I am so amazed by all of the detail you put into this, I mean look at that dress!

Thank you, Gin - you can well imagine how the polka dots drove me bonkers. But it looks so cute on her, I couldn't bear to draw it without the magenta dots.

This portrait brought a lot of happy memories to me as I was working on it. My niece and nephews are all huge fans of the Disney TV show, Zorro. I even have a photo of all of them wearing their own Zorro masks. So here's Guy Williams as Don Diego in Zorro.

Oh, by the way...Do you know that Guy Williams lived his lasts years in Argentina and dead in a flat that is placed only four blocks away of mine? It was quite sad, for he died alone and the neighbors found the fact for the bad smell they discovered some days after it hapenned... All people loved him so much in the neighborhood...He always take his coffe in a popular caffée named "la Biela", and the wiater who served him still remembers Guy very well.

Vanesa, Gin's gonna have to draw her own Guy. This one's staying with me. And thank you for the lovely compliment! I remember reading that Guy had been living in Argentina - and even had a traveling Zorro circus featuring himself and Henry Calvin (Sgt. Garcia) - but I didn't remember that his flat was so close to yours! I love it that no matter where I've read about Guy Williams, not one person has a bad thing to say about him. He seems to have been a genuinely nice man.
