Wow! If I didn't know better, I'd think that you'd been sketching for years! This couldn't be more perfect. It has depth, it has life. It's an amazing drawing!!

If you're this good now... well, I can't imagine the kind of work you'll be doing a few years from now.

Susie, thank you so much! I had thought about doing some sketches of Little House cast members. But I always end up getting distracted. LOL!

Lily, and Rob...You both made my day! I had been reading a book that was recommended to me by an artist, and in it, the author (who was a Disney animator) asks the question "Does your drawing have weight? Depth? Life?" and I was saying to myself "I don't know! Does it??" So, THANK YOU! And a big hug to both of you!

My sentiments exactly. And again, you have managed to capture the eyes, which is what it's all about. I truly think you have a career ahead of you Savannah! Oh, and I love Susie's idea of drawing some Little House characters! That would be neat!

I will never get tired of seeing your sketches, Savannah. I am continually amazed by your attention to detail, from the shading, to the wrkinkles in the shirt, the lifelike eyes, and even the little piece of metal poking out of the end of the handlebar. This is truly amazing, Savannah.

Savvy, that's just one heck of a good sketching. I didn't read the whole thread cuz I ain't been here in a while, but that was a danged good piece of work. I always wished I could sketch like that, but I can't draw a stick figure and you know what it looks like. lol. Words were always what I was good with. I envy you your talent.

Maybe one day I can send you a pic and you can make a nice sketch of me. I've always wanted that.

I havn't been on this thread in a while....Your sketches are beautiful! They are very life like! I might even try my hand at sketching myself! My brothers would make really good pictures.
