I'll keep praying, Rhonda. Hope she could be cured in no time. I'll make a church list, as suggested, for I have so many people to pray for that I can forget their names. Principally if I don't know them personnally.

Megan had another MRI and the tumor in her brain is growing

Here is a portion of an email I received from Terry.....he wrote this at 2am, so spelling and making sense may not be there.......Monika is his ex-wife and Rachel and Stephanie are his daughters that live here in Missouri....Megan and Laura live in Colorado........

looks like Monika, me, Rachel and Stephanie will all be heading to CO for Megan's next doctor appointment which is Thurs of next week..... we will either fly or drive out on Wed.... not sure yet. Monika is checking with her sister and brother-in-law who is retired from Delta to see if he can get tickets. We may rent a van or something and drive if that does not work.

Things do not sound good. There is a name for what she has... it is not a single tumor in her brain but a dispersion of cancer cells in the brain, something that is rare and there is apparently no known standard treatment for it, so Megan's doctor is going to network with her colleagues for a recommendation and to present options when we meet on Thursday. Megan is clearly thinking at this point that she is not going to get well. She was pretty down when we spoke by speaker phone while at Rachel's tonight with all of us there.
But, knowing her, in a few days, she will be more optimistic and in better spirits again. in the meantime... we just keep praying.

Rhonda, I am so sorry to hear this. It seemed like she was doing so well, and to find this out is so sad. I will continue to keep her in my prayers. Let us know when you hear from Terry again.

I am so sorry to hear about Megan. This is such sad news....I can't imagine how helpless Terry must feel. I'll be praying for Megan, and the family.

Well, Rhonda...WHAT can I say after reading this? It seems lige Megan has methastasic cells in her brain. I haven't heard about it before, but this awful illness has always something new to offer. I'm try to feel by myself what Megan is feeling right now, with so bad news and a chill run by my stomach.

I keep praying for her. If God wants it, she'll get well.

It's times like this that I realize just how lucky I am. Poor dear Megan, I can't imagine.... my heart aches for her. I'm stepping up my prayers.

Terry and his family left out mid-morning for Colorado.....please pray for safe travels and for good weather......

Terry and family are in Colorado and Megan's appointment is 3:00 Colorado time....4:00 for me, like 2 minutes.....Prayers for the family continue.....

Terry called last night and the family met with Megan and her oncologist. They are going to take the infusions she has been having every two weeks and bump them to every three weeks, add some oral chemo and another treatment as well.....then in a few days, she will have 2 weeks of radiation. Megan trusts her doctor completely and until she feels differently, will continue with the traditional treatments. Her family hopes that she will continue with her alternative meds and eventually get on a solid program of diet and stress free living...please continue your prayers....thank you.
